Reu is some kinda special! God has big plans for Reu. God has already invested special gifts in Reu, such as, wisdom, knowledge, comprehension, and vocabulary. Majority of three year olds, does not possess this type of intelligence at this age, that has to come from God. You don’t understand, Reu is still in a toddler category, “wow “, it Blows my mind that I get to experience watching such a gift! I am so impressed how Reu is sitting listening attentively and trying to figure it all out. I think he understands quite a bit .As he grows he will remember what Mom and dad have said and what his big brother told him.

When my grandson was Rue's age, he wanted to marry me. It was so funny and so cute. He's 7 now and the other day we reminded him that he said he wanted to marry me. Life Lessons - Reu takes in more than you think. He's quick-witted. He'll be going over what Tim and Ella said, processing it, and later on, it can be a day a week or months out of his mouth will fall a gem about what he was taught. All the kids show that ability. It's just so amazing with Reu because he's only 3 but he was doing it at 2!

I don’t know I think this was overdone. He’s only 3 years old. Sometimes you have to adjust age specific: What is a girlfriend a girl that’s a friend. He’s just an outgoing little boy. Tim and Ella, your explanation to Reu is above his head at the moment. That is for the older children Halle and up. Smaller children like him have crushes which last from a few minutes to a few months (sometimes a few years) but they pass as they grow. So don't discourage him, don't spoil his innocence, he doesn't understand the word but he wants to spread his love. There'll be time enough for him to think about the future and spending the rest of his life with someone and you'll both be there to guide him. You're right on the ball, don't worry he'll get it.

To EACH his own: It's important he isn't made to feel as though he wants something that is "wrong"- HE SHOULD have a healthy SOCIAL life that consists of MANY girls! Just help him to LEARN how to be a good FRIEND first: Learn how to LIKE girls as FRIENDS first! You would NEVER tell him he can only have ONE FRIEND that is a guy: The same should go for girls, just help him understand the CORRECT term for friendship. PLEASE don't think I'm questioning your parenting skills, but I ALWAYS hear you ask for comments, and that's the ONLY reason why I weighed in. PARENTS absolutely have the final say on how their children are raised, and you do a WONDERFUL job!
