Celica GT4 ST205 Drive thru Tokyo

- Hello all,
Come take a nice peaceful drive with me thru Tokyo in an ST205 Celica GT4.
The car is stock except for aftermarket wheels and a BOV mod which allows for the air to vent directly to the atmosphere. The part can be found here:

Great car man. I have a 1994 JDM ST202. Unfortunately mine is automatic, can’t have it sound as great as yours.
ST202 is still a cool car! I'm sure it sounds great in its own way!
I have the 1999 Convertible and just a great car I love driving mine, Just the Dealer option hunting and JDM goodies I'm still looking for more bits for mine 🤣

Ive asked further up about if this years takata airbag is subject to recall, do you know?
@@m60kaf Celica gt4 1997-1999 are subject to recall. I gave you more information on your post as well so please reference that.
@@chappardababbar I like the looks, handling, power delivery, noises it makes, also that it's pretty easy to get to 300hp. I like that it's different, and it is arguably the best Celica model to date Toyota has made (The quickest and most powerful for sure). It also is very practical for carrying things, has a decent size trunk due to it being a hatch. (Of course being a coupe it's not easy being used for a family, but for a single person or couple it has all the space you need.) It also has Toyota reliability if at or under that 300hp number. If you are looking for major power then the 3sgte is a great platform, and along with that you could do a bottom end swap and go the 5sgte route.

What camera do you have set up and where is it mounted?
I have a dji action 2 and I have it mounted to the headrest of the driver seat. Also the mic is a lavalier type and I have it connected near the exhaust. I need to mess with it a little bit and put it somewhere else because the wind noise was too loud for my liking in the video.
I have the same year with same steering wheel and SRS bag. Is yours on a takata airbag recall??. Mine here i have no way of checking
Yes it seems like st205 model's airbags from 1997-1999 are recalled. When I bought my car last year I think it came with documentation saying it was already changed out but I need to re-check it. Here is the website. toyota.jp/recall/2020/0122.html Sorry it's only in Japanese but scroll down to where it says e-st205 and to the right of it will show the years ((in Japan years) 平成9 (heisei 9)= 1997, 平成11 = 1999) of the recall

What kind of blow off valve are you running? Also can we see a picture of it
It's still the stock blow off valve just vented directly to the atmosphere via an adapter plate. I wrote the link to where I bought the adapter in the description. It should have some pictures on there as well. If you have any more questions let me know.
What exhaust do you have on this? I know you said the car is stock, but that is considerably louder than mine
It's still just a stock exhaust. The microphone was outside of the vehicle in the back so it sounds louder than it actually does from the inside of the car.
