I have I have an older x class 52v with the 18ah battery. I recently rode 29 miles full throttle/coasting mostly flats, at around 26miles there was 1 bar left then it started blinking, at 28 miles speed reduced to 10mph clearly a preservation feature, stopped at 29 miles but I think I could have gone further there was one green led left on battery. When you start blinking you should reduce your speed or do pedal assist to get home.

Great 2 pt review Randy. X-Class looks good, runs strong with 1000W 52V 20AH, 33A controller! 20mph min in PAS 0-5 is too fast though. Are the PAS levels individually programmable? I'd love to a comparison with the Juiced Hyper Scorpion' Also 1000W 52V 19.2AH, 34A controller and $500 less!

Looks like the X Class step through is nicer over bumps than the Kepler.. Little quieter

@@RandyRides Some full suspension bikes are not so great.. Cheap rear with no adjustability and very low travel

Hi Randy which seat is the most comfortable for a Kepler?

Hey Bruce! Thanks for stopping by!
I have several favorites. I've never really narrowed it down to just one. But my favorites are the Bikearoo and Cloud-9 comfort seats. They offer the most padding and comfort, and are overly huge. If you go to my Amazon shop (link in description), you can find most of them on there.

I had a Himiway Escape a couple years back. Sold it because it was so uncomfortable to ride. Back & butt.

I think for me, I can go 2 days without having to charge it in its unlocked mode and can get it to 36-37 mph speed-wise.
I usually do 12 miles of range a day. So I feel I could do like at least 24 miles for sure, If I had to guess maybe 30 miles in one charge.
In its locked mode at 20 mph I could maybe do the whole week without charging,
but going at 20 mph sure is slow and I would only do that if I really needed to go a farther distance.

Ehats the app you use to get the little info circle in the bottom right corner with all of the hill grade stuff?

I can do two trips to work and home 28 miles for 2 trips to work and home about 7 miles each way.. 28 miles average about 25-27 mph is gonna leave me at 15%. No hills anywhere and 190 lb rider. Can't go full throttle the entire trip but mostly full. 30 miles is probably going to be it. Turning the bike off at the 5% or 10% left and then back on again shows 15% after 28 miles

This bike will have real trouble going against the Ride 1 Up Revv1 new bike. I think it is good for the moped style .. Competing against the Hyper Scorpion by Juiced .. But it's no Revv1 in speed and looks

Ride 1 Up 750W 52V 20AH 28A controller and X-Class 1000W 52V 20AH 33A controller - both do 35mph. Ride 1 Looks like a Motorcycle and will get stopped on Class 2 trails. X-Class looks tamer and less likely to get stopped.

You don't damage the battery by going to 0

    • @RandyRides
      @RandyRides  Год назад +1

You can 100% damage your battery if you drain it to zero. Luckily AR has programmed the battery to shut off before you do so, so you should be fine as long as the BMS doesn’t fail.

Beg to differ but I did.I started testing how low I could go with the controller low voltage cutoff. Battery was never the same.
