Alex Paredes Great horned owls are easy to find. They nest in old red tail hawk nests before the leaves are grown on the trees, making it easy to see the mother owl setting in the nest. Marysville has the most nests I've seen, especially on the highway 65 stretch in the Plumas Lake area. I'll spot some nests next March and tell you where they are. OSH :-)
