Thank you,Sheng! I seek how to learn foreign language fast and effectivly! Mind map is one thing I pay attention, but I really don't realize how to include huge amount of information in this structure,I mean mind map! May it be your next video,I hope, that help more of us! Thank you!
Thank you for reaching out with such enthusiasm! Diving into a new language is indeed a fascinating journey, and utilizing Mind Maps can significantly streamline any study / learning process. When it comes to including vast amounts of information, the key lies in structuring your Mind Map to capture the most core concepts. This helps in breaking down the concepts into manageable chunks, making it easier to absorb and recall.
As a marketing professional, I’m always crafting plans and strategy documents, and this is an interesting tool to unleash ideas and harness the power of the brain. I wonder why business schools haven’t taught us these things. New subscriber here 😊
Good video. I also really like your voice. The tone is perfect for what you are explaining. I often get a bit annoyed listening to some other youtubers where you really can feel how overly confident they are and mostly seem to love to hear their own voice, or some people talking so slow and without expressing any emotion so that I almost fall alsleep.
Thank you, such a brilliant introduction to mind maps! Mostly I was completely blown away by your Covid 19 mind map, seeing someone engage with it in this way is truly inspiring. I'm grateful I found your channel, and am looking forward to spending time with your content.
Thank you Sheng Huang for a great discriptive video. I recently was introduced to Mind Mapping from a friend. I often find planning a bit overwhelming, when it comes down to project planning. Thank you again!
I just found this channel and while bullet point style notes work well for like say my college notes which are a lot more lineair most of the time. (Going from one topic to another topic in a lineair fashion) I have noticed that when I take notes on for example my feedback conversations on essays and stuff I am forgetting things and forgetting what I meant by certain notes. So I am definitely going to try this as I try to finish my master thesis.
I live the way you think. I’m writing a university argumentative essay and wanted to prep myself! I love the way speak. From the past 2 videos I’ve noticed you deliver a clear speech with the calm tone and leveled pitch. My brain 🧠 isn’t scrambling to figure out what you are saying! 🫂 Keep the content, sir!
Thank you Sheng, you're an amazing speaker and a presenter of the concept idea Highly motivating input! I'm just felling in love with it as a Sr UI/UX & Product designer. Why on Earth I haven't learnt it before!!?? Interesting though, that under a stress at work, that concept of Mind-mapping went out of my mind in Procreate. Thank you, Sheng. Subscribed and shared
Thank you and my pleasure! Haha I use mind maps precisely to deal with the stress and chaos at work to keep things organized and clear. I can't wait to share how I use it for product design this week :) Stay tuned!
I love your channel. As someone who couldn’t understand while bullet lists and outlines kept me lost even more than my thoughts when I would use them, I realized I’m a preferred non linear visual learner. Mindmapping is makes everything so much easier. For anyone wondering what software that is helpful to use for mindmapping look into - transno - Taskade - obsidian (plugin) I prefer Taskade because you can map the idea and then turn each block (node) into tasks And I use Gingkowriter for writing

Greetings Shen Huang and thank you for your sharing such an excellent tool and more importantly the practical adoption concepts with your excellent interventional approach. Yes - for example, if I were mapping a book, I wouldn't do the whole thing but rather do one for each chapter to make it more manageable. If it's no longer easy to search or read, then the map is too big
It really depends. I can spend as quickly as 5 minutes making a daily to-do mind map or weeks on a mapping out a book (not recommended btw ;) Hopefully my tutorials can give you a sense of how to use them for a variety of purposes
Hey Jay, I've never sold crops online before but sounds like you could project manage that or brainstorm ideas with this tutorial: ruclips.net/video/o1WhjPh3ZQ4/видео.html
Hello. I know this is 3 years old but it’s very helpful. My church is using your videos to help us flush out our vision. I’m a graphic design manager so i wanted to know what software (other than iPad software) can be used to create, manipulate and export mind maps?
Hello! I'm thrilled to hear that the videos have been of help to your church community! As a graphic design manager looking for versatile Mind Mapping software, I'd recommend exploring iThoughts X and XMind. iThoughts X is great for a robust, feature-rich desktop experience, and XMind offers flexibility, especially with its XMind.ai cloud-based service which can be fantastic for collaboration. Both are excellent in terms of creating, manipulating, and exporting Mind Maps. It's heartening to know that you're utilizing these tools to crystallize your vision. Wishing you the best in your creative and visionary endeavors!
Hey Arifin, Mind Meister (www.mindmeister.com/) is a pretty good web-based app. I personally like iThoughtsX on the desktop because it's fast and lightweight but the browser programs are great for collaborating.
Thanks for dropping by Marilyn! I use iThoughtsX for that mind map. It's my go-to for computer generated maps because it's fast and light weight vs web-based apps. The web-based stuff is great for sharing and collaborating with others though. Hope that helps :)
This looks like word vomit. I'm trying understand this for a school assignment and I can't seem to find anyone that explains it in a way that helps me understand it. Edit: So I wrote the above comment at towards the beginning of the video. I've now finished the video and I am convinced that mind mapping is complete nonsense.

Great video on Mind mapping! Thank you Sheng! I wonder what digital tool/s do you use? (The one that has the + - in it :) )
Well done, Sheng!
Hello, Nice video, Can you share the app you use at 4:12, please. Or anyone knows which software is, that mind sharing please?
I'm using iThoughtX: www.toketaware.com/ithoughts-osx
Excellent explanation!
thanks
Hi Sheng, really enjoyed your video. What are the digital tools you use to make the mindmaps you showed in this video?
I use ithoughtsx, mindnode, and notability (hand drawn maps). Thanks for dropping by!
Solid video
Awesome! Thanks for this very helpful vid. 👍❤️
Glad it was helpful!
do you have an updated video to the mind map you used for Covid? That would be interesting to see.
Hello Sheng - great content - thanks!! Just curious why you prefer Notability on the iPad over iThoughts. Is it because of the better pencil support?
Thank you! Yes exactly - iThoughts is great for autostructuring and typing whereas Notability is for hand drawn maps
Thank you. Great overview.
Glad it was helpful!
When a mind map get big and messy do you create new mind map for a subtopic? How much information should be in mind-map?
Yes - for example, if I were mapping a book, I wouldn't do the whole thing but rather do one for each chapter to make it more manageable. If it's no longer easy to search or read, then the map is too big
The was you cover this is really cool
when I confuse about mindmapping.
I thinking about my home have "Happy" in the middle of Mindmap.
Seems like a really good idea 😄
How much time do you invest on each map? It seems like you devote tons of time on each of the one you show us here. Thanks a lot!
It really depends. I can spend as quickly as 5 minutes making a daily to-do mind map or weeks on a mapping out a book (not recommended btw ;) Hopefully my tutorials can give you a sense of how to use them for a variety of purposes
you showed us some examples of mind maps you created, did you use mind mup for them/what program did you use for it?Thanks😁

best regards
Hey Arifin, Mind Meister (www.mindmeister.com/) is a pretty good web-based app. I personally like iThoughtsX on the desktop because it's fast and lightweight but the browser programs are great for collaborating.
Mind mapping stimulates both sides of our brain 🧠 you should use different colors And if possible draw pictures of the topic and the subtopics!
Absolutely! I like to draw diagrams when I use my iPad for hand drawn maps
An old dog just learned some new tricks!
How do u make it longer like your develop portal? how do you connect that to achievements. This is unfair. Im confused
Thanks for dropping by Marilyn! I use iThoughtsX for that mind map. It's my go-to for computer generated maps because it's fast and light weight vs web-based apps. The web-based stuff is great for sharing and collaborating with others though. Hope that helps :)
Where can I find that mind map of coronavirus!?
Here you go: ruclips.net/video/dqrShooumjI/видео.html
what the best mind map software
Check out iThoughtsX and Miro. Those are the two that I use.
Just found this. Looks like you quit producing though. That's too bad. I like your style of instruction
David thank you for your support - comments like yours is what's bringing me back. Expect more coming this week :)
The only problem I've found with mindmaps is they are difficult to use with a phone.
Small price to pay for a cheat code tool.
Bro please suggest a free software for mind map for windows
Check out Mind Meister. They have a good free version that gives you 3-4 maps.
@@ShengHuang thanks bro
u didnt show me how you use a computer to make the beautiful mind maps that make you look like a genuis eg the Covid one
It looks likes you have mind maps behind the camera to help you with the video right?
Oh 100%! It's much better than having a script. Just enough to keep my train of thought organized ;)
Your server is acting up. I made several attempts to join your Mind Map Nation. No return email. Thanks.
Never got my 40pg e book😂
why is no one talking about his jaw line

you are a show off. How do you just wake up and show off like that. Im so jealous!! I wish I was Asian too

Great opening video! Wondering which mind-map tool you use?
Thank you! I use iThoughtsX and MindMeister for digital maps and Notability (iPad) and Frixion pen+notebook combo for handdrawn maps.
