Pretty sure I got 3 1099s from exchanges last year and none of them are right... Is it okay if our gains don't match up?
1099s from cryptocurrency exchanges can often be missing a lot of critical information that's needed to report your taxes. We break down exactly how to handle them in this blog here: coinledger.io/blog/crypto-form-1099
Can I print my 1099 off your app?
Do we have to pay TAX even if we have yearly final loses after dozens of transactions from crypto to other crypto but ended losing money ?? And never converted back to national currency US dollars ? Do we have to pay taxes for every succesful “temporary profit” and stayed in Bitcoin ?
you only pay taxes when you sell for a profit, but you have to report your losses because it's beneficial to you, losses are only calculated when you sell, not simply because the price goes down while holding. Taxable events are only when you sell the cryptocurrency.
Please can I call you or email you I’m freaking out. I have no clue about taxes and Tia goes back all the way to 2019. Please help 😭😭
