This is a replica of an early Jeep XJ, like a 1983 or 84 Cherokee. They got the body, interior, steering wheel and rims almost 100% correct and the only wrong is the shallow floor and cargo areas where they had to make room for the frame or electronics. The front turn signals and hazard lights are under the headlights and not on the side. The side lights are marker/running lights though and would be neat to fix those.
The nostalgia here is high, I had a 1988 jeep Cherokee Laredo. It was my first foray into offroading. I drove it everywhere, unfortunately it got totaled out 3 times. I really want one, tomley gave it a poor review for the lack of power issue, which I can't blame him for. I do agree that better electronics in it would make a world of difference. I really thing a single speed 370 and either wpl electronics or a 1060 with a dumborc x4/6. Hope to see and upgrade video soon. Also not huge on how small they made the tires.
Tomley isnt wrong. Its a looker that needs upgrades to get it to do more controlled trailing and get the most out of the setup. I am gonna try the new standalone WPL ESC and see how that does on my next video of this rig.
Stock version still the best looking for those of us looking for a simple runabout and not performance junkies😆...what size driver can you squeeze inside without chopping? 5 inch? For example the bruder figures?
@Run That RC Sad attempt? You did great and that Cherokee is excellent, for a cheap, plastic RC SUV, it´s not a rock climber for sure but it made it over rock obstacles that I never thought it would! Like you said, needs better electronics but that´s all...and oil shocks for those perfectionists.
For the price it is perfect. Want more spend at least an additional 75 dollars to get a better model and still have to spend another 150 or more to upgrade it! So with about 50 or 60 dollars in essential upgrades it will be under 150 and be a very good jeep! Just my opinion. It is a good entry level hobby entry model.
They really did well with this, but they missed some styling queues that really don't make sense. The front/mid windows on the 1984-1996 model years are split... so at first glance it looks 'off' and took me a while to figure out why.
Planning on getting one shortly, want to get rid of that on/off switch on the the body, would you show us how to get rid of it? And the turn signals how do we turn those off?
The MN90--MN99S shocks are GREAT, however, for what they are. They are so soft, they really give a lot of flex and articulation. That is the only thing I have not upgraded on my MN99S.
😍👀👀👀👍👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👊
I like it it a lot. The electronics bring it down because it has great light options and functionality but not smooth enough for my type of trail use. So upgrade time it is.
@@RunThatRC great, now i need another rc hahaha im backed up i still havent bought the losi drag camaro, pop pop up and down headlights corolla, nor the monster masher, and now add this to the list hahahaha they’re just cranking out the awesome rcs too fast now
If you're a XJ fan then yes. The hard body is pretty nice. Performance is going to need work unless you are just trailing around and not rock crawling. It's a decent size as well.
@@RunThatRC estoy de acuerdo, pero también necesita un mejor motor , el 180 es muy poco para este coche lo digo porque tengo dos wpl un c24 y un c54 y funcionan mejor con el motor 370.
I am very impressed by this Mn78s performance. I´m still adding cosmetics to mine, driver coming soon! @Fonzie.rc What do you think of the MN78 now, bro?

@@RunThatRC sounds like a plan, isn't that like a 15-20amp?
That truck is of a trail truck than a rock crawler, but like you said with better esc and transmitter it will be a awesome truck
Awesome video! MN stepping up their game. That has as much detail if not more than the mn86ks. Gotta have one!
Awesome bro been watching all your stuff but got a couple WPLs and some MNs Love your channel bro been wanting to get the blue body of this one
Its a looker for sure. Upgrade electronics and it should be fun.
Thank you for making a video on mn 78
Awesome video my man. MN has some all metal portal axels out and they're awesome! Work with WPL 2 speed.
Glad MN is coming away from those weird dual height tires where the inside sidewall was shorter than the outside.
Yeah they are like the 10th scale short course wheels and tires. Not sure why they went that route for a crawler/trail truck.
Typical Cherokee the rear struts never work. I love the detail of the body. Can't wait for mine to get here
its definitely a nicely done body.

they are fun for sure. Not sure what figures will fit unfortunately. It's not really my thing, I just run them ghost driver style! lol
@Run That RC 😄

Yeah its not bad at all. I was able to full throttle through stuff and it made it up, just want that extra power and control and it will be set.
Haha that's actually pretty dope man. Hope more 1:18 scales come. Really digging your take on the wpl's tho
Great run bro ! Congrats 🇵🇭

For sure. This is a fun little Rc and has potential in the right hands.
Nice rig bro

Thing does pretty good for it's size
its not bad for scale trailing around. The modulation could be better but it does look good!
I love this one.
I am a fan of the XJ as well. Great 4x4 in real life.

Muito top este vídeo mn78 é incrível este rc.😍👀👀👍👏👏👏👏👏👊
thanks for stopping by!
Great videos. MN128 review soon or..
I think my next MN is the land cruiser.
Good product 😊👍
For sure👍
I think I’m getting this.
Sweet rig. Only downfall I see is it has the cheap mn shocks like come with the mn 99s
Yeah they need to update that for sure.

So do we love this even though its not tenth scale? Or do we hate it?

Mine won’t pair to eachother I’ve tried everything what do I do please help
Make sure your transmitter batteries are charged but if you have tried that then I recommend contacting the seller to see if they can help you out.
Hello pro,review wltoys 104310
Very nice bro😍👌
Thanks I appreciate it!
Is it possible to remove the light bar and the rack ?
It is but there will be holes left in its place. might be able to body fill, sand and paint.
I think it needs mo Powe.
I agree 👍

Would you say it's a rig worth buying.

Rgt 136161 best
I have one and they are good.
Currently drive a td XJ and that thing looks just as fragile and cheap. It 'looks' cool though but that's about it.
haven't ran mine much just a cool looking rig. I like XJs. Forsure not reliable without upgrades.
Para este coche seria mejor un motor 370 o 380 mayor torque..
I think it needs a new gearbox with lower range gears to achieve more torque to the wheels.

Hey not to be too demanding but I want more wpl c24 videos
I will have more soon. I never stop messing with my WPLs.
