- This original composition, "Guitar Boogie," by Henri Herbert is featured on Henri's latest album, "Boogie Till I Die." The album includes originals along with re-imaginations of songs by everyone from Duke Ellington to Oscar Peterson to Muddy Waters and more (including a duet with keyboard legend Chuck Leavell). Across its 11 tracks, the album taps into an array of moods from a barrelhouse stomp to straight-up blues and cinematic jazz to the very roots of rock and roll.

For me Henri is simply the best. Ben Toury, Jojo Carpenter, Ladyva, Dr K and others are quite brilliant but Henri’s ‘flow’ is unsurpassed in my view. Reminds of a sparkling, free flowing river..pure joy

Hi Henri, I was a Keyboard Player when I was younger and it had a big impact in my life and I been watching you since the band Jim Jones Revue and you guys, mainly you, were Great. My biggest gig was when I was 17 and my band, at that time, played with the band Styx and I felt the rush of adrenaline of 5000 people clapping and I was hooked
I tied to take up piano, but could never find the place to blow into.
@@20alphabet You should have gotten a player piano but you have to blow really, really hard. That's why most player piano pianists use foot driven bellows or electric compressors.
