ACMP Film Club: Through The Darkness

Back by popular demand and just shortly after the 150th anniversary of Arnold Schoenberg's birth - documentary film-maker Hilan Warshaw joins ACMP Film Club for a discussion of his documentary film "Through the Darkness" with our Executive Director Stephanie Griffin.
THROUGH THE DARKNESS is a documentary from Overtone Films telling the story of the relationship between composer Arnold Schoenberg and Austrian Expressionist painter Richard Gerstl. This is the story of two outsiders. Each was a rebel, a visionary in his field. They were drawn together by passion for their art- and for the same woman. Their meeting drove one of them to his death, and forever changed the course of musical history.
