Rare Humble honesty, got my thumbs up. Thanx for the tut on the tools ~ and no more black holes for the bees after 7years right-i-o ~ Mr Bee guardian ~ then alls peachy
I've captured a swarm in the past, but whoa is this different. My buddy called me about bees in the wall of his garage and being April in Wis sounded like a good idea to catch them. Now I know better. I think I'll pass it along to someone else in the local bee association. Great video, it was exactly what I was looking for, even if it did make me take a pass.
@s8tin Nope, I definitely deal with AHB. They are not as severe as the media portrays. Go watch JPthebeeman videos. He's the king of AHB removals, and he only wears a veil half the time.
keep it up mr Taylor, have a Q. i found an old house bees going in and out small hole in a wood above the entrance of the door but 1 problem the house is an old school traditional house made out of white stone and mud
jannassary a couple of applications % Sevin dust, borlic acid will get rid of them,I did a job 6 months ago late winter, the owner didn't want a bee keeper, the house was quite old but for the safety of the public,I poofed around the foundation, inside the walls.it had the same problem years before, sealed the entrance up with foam.but I did the job late in the winter so they consumed most of the honey up.but the dust had seattled, left a very strong odor after 7 months of treatment, destroyed the bees!
When you do a cutout do you repair the structure or do you have the homeowner sign some agreement that you're not responsible for repairs? I have wanted to cutouts for people but have declined, since I didn't want to be liable for the repairs of the acess holes.
So how much of a bad idea is it to buy a bee suit, sit outside of the hive entrance deep in my rock porch and slap at them with a magazine for 3 hours?
OK after some experience......... do you still do it the same way? I guess the residual bees that gets left behind and let them naturally die? how does the home owner feel about still having thousands of bees? great video!
Dude, how on earth did you get stung on the nose with that contraption on your head? That looks like a pretty bullet proof bee suit. Nice video, thanks.
Just minutes into the video and I thought, 'he's not got that headgear on properly, with the mesh against his face like that he's going to get stung on the nose'. Minutes later, LMAO. Couple of stings for all that honey though, worthwhile.
wow , that was a great video about bee remover, thanks , i be getting in to doing just that , here in Puerto Rico our bees are africanized!!, but our stain of AHB are not aggressive type They have gentle behavior like the normal honey bee in state side(USA) . just do a reseach on the bees in PR if you don't believe me, So all AHB are not the Same!!, again thanks for posting the video
you really don't know if you are dealing with africanized bees (AHB) or just mean bees. Don't worry, they only sting, It's not like they throw a sack over your head and shove you in the trunk of a Ford. I've done a few cutouts that could be AHB. So what? I've been to africa, the beeks there deal with AFB. So don't buy into the hype the media gives you on this. Bees are bees, mean bees are mean bees. It's all good.
Thank you!!! I am new to bee keeping and am trying to learn all I can. This is wonderful!!!

WOW! You are officially the "BEE MASTER" or maybe "BEE TAMER" or how about "THE BEE WHISPERER"! Great job!
Where can I get the blue prints for that bee vac??? Did you make yours??
Great video on bee removal. Servall Pest Control can always help with bee removal.
You rock! I like the way you try to save the bees. Do you keep the bees or do you know a bee keeper that takes them?

This is a fascinating video.
How old is a hive like that?
Interesting bee vac design. Wish you would have shown use of it.
How did you make that yellow monster bee vac using that concrete form ?
Lmao I saw how he was wearing the hat and I thought, he might get stung right on the tip of his nose and then it happened ha

How many pounds of honey and wax did you get from this hive? Sorry i don't know the metric system that well but i love your videos :)

Very interesting thanks!
How much do you charge for this Cutout
Also add bee b gone spray to area or diff bees will find area

What is "lighting" and "robbing"?
@remi009340 well if you want to save the bees (for honey) you have to extract them not kill them
@FlyTheObserver No, it's not. I could do 3 out of 4 extractions without gloves or veil.
After you place the bees and their comb in a box, how can you force/convince them to stay?
they will stay with their queen, must make sure she is in there

why not buy ones out there approved by states them self to be used for bees?
Skill.

@tsmullins1969 see my video on how to build a bee vac
Who repairs the cutout wheñ you're done?
I would like to know this too
For the type of veil you have a baseball cap can protect your nose.
wow thats alot of bees!
@joebrown2487 I found your video!
Yes but if AHB's are really mad they can swarm all over a person and sting them thousands of times, best treat them with caution!
You need to buy a thermal image camera
Anyone else think this guy sounds and kinda looks like Captain Reynolds?
I just use a broom handle and night time... Thats all.
Nice vid. Easy solution. Get Winnie the Pooh
not that bad but it would be alot easyer if you just use a pipe bomb! lol
dang im itchy
boys? I am female :)
