Why wouldn't they call the 2022 version a new name, how confusing.
I have the 2020 edition and didnt even know there was a 2022 version until people kept asking about it. In any case, still enjoying it and have no issues.
I have the 2020 model, it's perfect, no need to upgrade for something a little better.

Yes mine has that issue, not much you can do unless you try to buy from a different store to see if it has the same issue
is there any difference in the performance of the stylus? I'm going to buy one to be used mainly for note taking and might be able to save a bit on the 2020 model if there's no difference in note taking capabilities.,

Sorry, but if i may, is the 2020 version still worth buying, like does it have Samsung Dex now and does it come with a stylus in the box, i just need a tab not too pricey for drawing and animation so will getting the 2022 edition be overkill or will rhe 2020 edition be good enough 🙏🏾✌🏾

If you go with S6 lite I would go for 2022 version
the 2020 version does support samsung dex and it was also mentioned in the video around 2:00

Ya hice lo que un usuario promedio puede hacer, formatear, borrar cache, reinstalar, etc. Exactamente las mismas aplicaciones, el mismo sistema operativo y comparadas una con otra, rinde más, va mas fluida y no hace lags la s6lite que lleva el exynos. Hace poco la 2022 actualizó a android 14 y a pesar de hacer formato hasta desde el recovery, instalar app una por una, la situación empeoró. Les digo con conocimiento de causa, va mejor la s6 lite con el exynos. Estos influencer te mostraran que carga mas rapido un juego, que abre un milisegundo más rapidomtal o cual aplicación, pero en el uso diario, ira mejor la version exynos, es la realidad.
Easy Choice, if you already have the 2020, then no. If you have a basic tab like a A7 or A8 and looking for an entry level pen tab with a bit more power, then yes.
So far you're the only one talking about light bleed on the 2022, I'm not sure if others are noticing it, or they don't have it. Did you contact Samsung about it since you're a tech reviewer?
I asked other reviewers, but they have yet to reply about the light bleed.

hey bro, i just saw a clean S6 lite bought the 03/2021 for 120€. I just want to buy a tablet to use Dex mode to code outside my house and do some homework on word etc. Do you think that getting it for 120€ is like « perfect » or should i get a new one for 250-300€?

@@onurdogan2390 I say so, 1 the CPU is far better, plus those 2020 ones had their batteries sitting on the self and could've drained to low levels. Plus I think the Android updates should be plenty, what, around 4 updates?

I like your reviews but having watched a few from different people and going round in circles, I'd suggest a few things to do differently or add to make these more useful. I'm asking you as I like yours the most!
Put the exact model numbers in the video and descriptions. The year is very little use given so many sellers try to get rid of old stock with the same name!
Tell us if you have a review model or shop bought (can explain problems)
Show us the view from different angles, and in brighter light.
Show us handwriting/stylus response
Talk about how your thoughts are watching Netflix. How the colours are and speech. We don't need the science half the time when it comes to immersive content.
That's a few suggestions. The tablet market is so complicated to navigate it drives me mad. Thanks for your great videos!
Thanks for the tips, yeah I rarely get tablet review models unfortunately, and I mention at the beginning of the video if I do.
I noticed that with the 2022 edition you can actually cast your tablet screen onto a smart tv using smart view on the Samsung tablet.
Your tablet and the smart tv just have to be connected to the same wifi network.
And you can also use smart view to use your tablet as a second screen if you're working with a pc ... no hdmi cable needed
true, i just mention the hdmi adapter because i had a lot of people asking about it
will s6 lite suffice study work? multitasking, switching between multiple running apps? I need the tablet to read books and make notes, visual boards etc. My main concern is the 4gb of ram
might be just enough for some but you will notice its more sluggish than some of the more expensive samsung tablets

When getting a case for the tablet, they often ask for which P number you have, like P613 or P610 or P619...what do these mean? Is it a size difference? Why would it otherwise matter?
Tab S6 Lite 2020 has two versions: P610 (Wifi) and P615 (Wifi +SIM LTE).
Tab S6 Lite 2022 has also two versions: P613 (Wifi) and P615 (Wifi +SIM LTE).

If it says S6 Lite on bootup screen it's the older 2020 version. New version only says Samsung Galaxy.

yes but not all of them, the tab p11 pro gen 2 would be similar option with the precision pen 3 if you can find that but its tough to beat samsung's s pen in my opinion

I think that s6 lite 2022(sd720g) would be better option as in my place i am getting it for *229 dollars* (yeah price is crashed in my country) including all discounts and bank offers
So i will now go with *samsung*

@ItsBrown nope. The Tab S6 Lite doesn't have that option.

The new one sacrifices screen brilliance for an unnoticeable boost in speed.

On the boot up screen it says S6 lite for 2020. 2022 has the word refresh on Amazon description. But they should say it in title or description.

most galaxy tabs with s pen will be good for that
Bleeding is in fact, not a fault and is part of the normal manufacturing process. It's mainly appeared when the screen is used in a dark place or displaying material. Bleeding can be reduced by turning down the screen brightness level
Don't know if this is true but can't hurt to try
its when the display in manufactured with to much pressure

but common on low end devices
sometimes taking it apart can fix it
unless its an assembly part (all in one)

I think so I got my 2022 tab s6 lite two months ago and I have the backlight bleed on the same spot as he does.
The 2022 one goes on sale for 229 get it it's way better and it gets cheaper discount I mean a better discount sorry
IMHO Samsung could've added more features to this 2022 version rather than just the chipset upgrade. Features like : 5G connectivity, 90Hz Refresh rate, Improved Stylus latency, Larger battery & 25W Fast Charging. To add more, I feel like 720g is still a two year old mid-range chip. They should've gone either Snapdragon 778G/higher or an Old Flagship level chipset like the 845 or 855. Heck, even an AMOLED Panel would've made it stand out. I wish they had renamed it as the FE version rather than the 2022 version.
i mean it’s supposed to be budget. If you want those features just get a more expensive tab (they have those already). We’re getting to a point where reusing old designs is make a lot of sense being that it still good enough for most people.

I’m always shocked when people say how little the battery lasts while the one we have lasts over 15 hours, i guess it depends on what you do but still, it never took under 10hours to go to 20%
(Drawing and watching stuffs, take notes (what I use it for)) if you only take notes then it’ll last you like 2 days+

Im having a minor issue. My tablet screen locks automatically when my hand touches somewhere around the back, i dont know where exactly but it happens. Sometimes even at the front of the tablet. How do i disable this?
