I’m from the US. The US coaches would have turned for her. They don’t expect a perfect vocal performance but if they hear a style they like or think there is enough potential to work with the artist to help them grow, then they will push their button. In Norway it seems like you have to give a perfect technical performance to get a chair turn.
Maybe because there are so many good auditions in Norway, have you thought about that? As the mentors have said numerous of times, they dont have time to help them improve when it comes to the basics and important things like timing etc. They are supposed to guide them into the right direction, but if you lack something important in the audition, they cant turn their chairs, cause literally everyone at the blind auditions are good and they only have 12 spots. They said she was very good at the high notes which is what the audience think is the hardest, but its actually timing and the lower notes, where you are telling a story, thats the hardest and she wasnt there, and they were right.
@@In_my_own_mind With the timing issue is that something that a person would work on themselves or something a vocal teacher would help them with? Just wondering because I'm not sure.
@@In_my_own_mind you nailed it. Maybe some haven't watched Norway Voice but it's different! So much talent it's insane. They can be a ton more picky with their contestants.
Not surprised This is the fifth audition missed by the judges (Amanda, Juni, Marguerite, Karen & Andrine). Remember, the goal of the program is to help these candidates improve their singing and push it to a new level, not just by having a winner's card.
You are wrong. The point of the program is to crown Norway’s best voice. As they have said numerous of times, they dont have time to help them improve when it comes to important things like timing etc. They are supposed to guide them into the right direction, but if you lack something, they cant turn their chairs, cause literally everyone at the blind auditions are good and they only have 12 spots. A presentation full of emotion, you can see that she is nervous. But that doesn’t even take away the brightness of her presentation! You really can’t understand, they are technicians, they are there just to try to help the candidate get better!
It's a testament to how talented the people of Norway are, that this audition didn't earn a spot on anyone's team. This could well have been a four-chair turn on America's "The Voice". Really excellent.
They said she nailed the high notes, which is something the Audience beleives is the most difficult, but in reality the low notes are more difficult and she wasnt as steady on the low notes.
@@In_my_own_mind But look, I've been playing the guitar for a long time, and when I hear a voice like that, that timbre, I wouldn't think twice about touching the button.
Could it be that she sings too impeccably to need a coach to teach her? Could it be that she doesn't need a program like this to succeed? Will it be her?
If they thought she was good enough they would turn. As the mentors said, she sang the high notes flawless and even though the audience thinks its the high notes thats the hardest, its the lower notes, the timing and story telling that is the hard part and she lacked something there. They also look for personality in the voice.
Totally monotone and out of tone. And i read comments like great voice, incredible, . You Need really acoustic system. This Song IS the most in vibrato. Who wrote incredible voice, fantastic Can explain where Is in this performance 1 second of vibrato? Then After half video She Is totally without breath, the Song required to reach a High note, and to maintain It, but being without breath After half Song, She start to Scream....you hear it or you are All blind? In a childhood school, childrens sing millions times Better. This is not fantasy, this is a fact. If someone disagree with me i can explain second by the second the tons of mistakes She did from the beginning to the end. This is the voice of NORWAY not the karaoke of NORWAY so the PARTICIPANTS should go on stage SINGING at a good level, but this One Is a complete disaster
No they are not. What they said was correct. She nailed the high notes which people think is the hardest part, but its actually the lower notes, the timing and story telling in the verses thats the hardest part and she wasnt as good in that part.

Absolutely! I miss Matoma 😢
I can't believe they didn't press the button. Beautiful voice, well sung melody. The judges are very demanding this season, my goodness😮

I’m wondering if they are running out of space on their teams. They missed a couple this week, I feel.

A true mentor/coach pushes their button for POTENTIAL. She definitely had it, too bad.

This makes no fucking sense. Bring Matoma back, there is no suprise turns anymore. All just aiming for the finished product to win.
I thought she was wonderful ,to be that good and no turns unbelievable.
