I lost my best friend almost a year ago from a very brief, horrible battle with cancer. He was 43. He had JUST married his husband after waiting for 2 yrs for his Canadian immigration paperwork to come to the US. His husband is now a widower and they only got 4 months together in the US before Mike was diagnosed. His hubs, K, is now all alone. It will be 1 yr next month and I honesty don't know how his husband has made it thru. We support him as much as we can. I promised my bff we would take care of him. I know how hard it's been for me but I want ao badly to take his pain away. He is in a new country with no friends or family (other than his dead husband's friends he barely knows i.e. us) I'm sorry for the long post! I feel for him and I so wish they had more time. Thank you for sharing your feelings. Sending all the ❤ for your healing.

When my 27yr old daughter was In the first grade she was very busy. Her teacher taught her how to crochet using her fingers. Soon there was a group of kids that also started. She graduated to hooks and for years we've benefitted with hats, scarves, stuffed animals and more💚

That is so awesome, I was in 6th grade and we had pioneer day, I learned then and now 50yrs old, so grateful I had an opportunity to learn a dying craft (somewhat) young ....grade 1 even better ❤😂❤❤❤

The look on Pepper’s face when you put those stupid socks on was HILARIOUS 😂😂 Poor Pepper ❤😂😂 I was dying watching her try and walk! Dogs HATE stuff on their feet! I had snow shoes for my Dog Rufus when we lived in Washington state lol He hated snow and it hurt his feet so I got him boots lol He was a Parsons Jack Russell. He refused to keep those boots/socks on. He got better about being barefoot in the snow (to go potty, I didn’t force him in the snow) my other dog was a 120 lb Malamute/Golden Ret mix. She’d live in the snow! I couldn’t get her to come inside if there was snow! She rolled in it!
Girl, same!! My Rottweilers don't want to come back in! My Chihuahuas and Chihuahua/Miniature Pincher mix are the WORST in the cold and snow (in NW Ohio). I tried boots too! They won't move 😂

I use my craft caddy for actually carrying drinks, like coffee or things that I might take to my place of work.
I never even thought to use mine for crafts. As soon as I saw it on the shelf, I thought, "Drink caddy!" LOL
Resin can be tricky. I never liked the jewelry myself and I used a blow dryer to move the resin around and I think you just had too much mica in it. Then run a lighter over the resin to pop the bubbles or the heat gun will work too. But I did resin and sold it for a year and I just gave it up. You need to be in a very open ventilated area while wearing a special mask. It is so bad for your lungs and you can’t smell it

Almost all the Fall items are gone at my store. lots of bare shelves so must be time for them to put out Christmas stuff. Its so disappointing to see all these cool things and know I cant find them😟
Oh my gosh, Noel is such an adorable little girl. She looks so darn cute with the beanie. I like that if you don’t do a full DIY video, that you show us how you use the items that you show us that The $🌳 has. You are amazing and your kids are both so cute. Your husband is cool too because he supports you in everything. I’m hoping that you will do some DIYs for Thanksgiving (a very important holiday that is sadly often over looked), Christmas, and even New Years. Thank you for sharing your talent.

I love the little guitar and cassette air fresheners! I work at a radio station and grabbed these to use as Christmas ornaments… no one will know lol!!
If I was limited to just one of those fast-food places I’d pick McDonald’s. They have a variety of things to choose from. I always enjoy watching your videos and seeing what Dollar Tree is carrying. I get a lot of inspiration of items to buy or DIYs to make.

The heat gun is to help remove bubbles and Mica Powder is pronounced with the long I sound. I love the graphic socks and spiders. The first response was just for your information not criticism. I love the bubbling cauldron. I wish my DT had this much good stuff. Love these videos.
We used the doggy socks to protect their paws from salt outside. Happy Days 😊😊
If u want your resin pieces to shine put a Gloss top coat on them and the sparkles in the mica powder will show up really cute
I love the crafting section and how they're always adding better supplies. I literally learned to crochet just because dollar tree started carrying the hooks and yarn and now they're adding more crochet stuff these days! So excited!

I got the Cheez It socks, but my lower leg is thicker at the top, so I had to cut the top elastic and hem them to fit. Otherwise they're super cute! Also I love the jewelry you made! If you don't, you can always turn them into magnets!
My granny tried to teach me to crochet for so long, I just couldn't do it. I found Mikey on The Crochet Crowd here on YT and it finally clicked. I love it. Blankets are my go to, but I also make a lot of hats and scarves for Christmas gifts. You could make so many cute headbands for you daughter. Crystal on Bag O'Day Crochet is another good teacher you might want to check out if you end up liking Crochet.

Lol I bought the caddy for a drink carrier. Easy sell for me because I can’t tell you how many times I’ve spilled getting multiple drinks! Drink carriers aren’t that stable if there isn’t someone - other than the driver - stabilizing! 😂

It's always so interesting to see what's "new" in stores in different regions. Those name-brand socks were in my local stores back in July and I haven't seen them again since.

Very cool! Only thing is anyone using the resin, you must must mustttt be in a ventilated place like outside and wearing a mask. People get very sick because it's extremely toxic but doesn't smell like it is.

My Mom crocheted with the tiny thread. She crocheted while watching TV. She made complicated bed spreads with flowers. Doilies with names on them. I never learned. It was boring to me.

When I am buying produce, I put it in the veggie bags. I find they are a lot sturdier. I like they close with a drawstring, so I don't end up with produce dumping out.
