Great video. All you need to do besides dropping your air pressure is use the manual shift mode. Start in 2nd or 3rd and as the rpms begin to drop shift it down a gear without letting off the gas. Once you learn that you will be able to go anywhere without a problem. Good luck.

I drove from nyc to silver lake sand dunes last October with my wrangler,, I had an absolute blast.
It's so much fun! Going back again this weekend!

Do you have a programmer to allow you to use 4HI and All LOCKERS. That probably would have made your climb easier on that dune.
MyJLWranglerProject I needed to lower my pressures for sure, but that’s a good idea. I think my Tazer JL has some updates for that.
Happy birthday! The wife and I love Silver Lake. We are about 30 minutes from the dunes and Just bought a new Jeep 2 weeks ago. Lol we took it up test hill with less than 150 miles on the jeep. Would love to know when you guys go again. Great video!

We go to the dunes here in NW Oklahoma in our jeep. I love it!! I wont go back to a rzr. My husband has a long travel sandcar, we are obviously die hard duners! HA. @@shockerracing how are they compared to kitto tera grapplers and the goodyear wrangler all-terrain adventure with kevlar
@@MrTater192 they are a great all season tire. They do well on the dunes, are quiet on the street and last a long time. I don’t have any experience with the other tires, but I know the KO2’s have been a great all around tire.
