Our family recently attended the National Bird Show, a captivating event hosted by the Tauranga Bird Club at BAYPARK, Mount Maunganui. This marked the show's return to the region after several decades and proved to be a delightful experience for our children. We were so enchanted by the event that we brought home two budgies as new feathered family members. Unfortunately, our excitement was tempered by the subsequent challenge of locating suitable cages at Animates.

That cage is way too small for 2 Budgies. They do not use that type of nest for breeding. Stores will sell any size cage to make sales. You need to get a much bigger cage and do some serious research in to keeping and breeding Budgies. Take some time and watch many you tube videos. You also need to feed them Budgie seed and vegetables please research what they can eat.

Thanks for your suggestion. We already giving them budgie seed and millet spray as treat.

@@riyasmirrornz They also need fruit and vegies not just live on seed. Kale is poisonous to Budgies, but they can eat lots of others check a list online.
