They don't understand all of the back of house people that are left out when that happens. I know you work very hard and deserve every penny you get. Just an FYI entertainment dept (which includes the children’s program) is under the hotel operations and does not get those tips, I believe cruise staff (social hosts) and dancers at least used to get a little extra for working bingo and camp carnival (children’s daycare/activities) used to get an extra cut of what was charged for late late night daycare, but those may have gone away post pandemic (my knowledge is from 10 years ago)
