It's time to bring the true ending of the Family Trainer saga to a close with a game that doesn't even seem like it's for the Family Trainer.
Famidaily is my attempt to catalog all of the commercially released Famicom games.

This is a super cute game that I've had my eyes on for some time. I mostly want it for the tap mat. It's a cheap, silly, gimmicky game, but one I really want on my shelf.

Ah, IGS. They also published Cyber-core and Violent Soldier (aka Sinistron) on PC-Engine. 2 interesting shmups. Not to be confused with the Taiwanese arcade manufacturer IGS, who is probably most known for their Neo-Geo-like PGM hardware, home to a number of visually-impressive beat-em-ups based on Chinese mythology, and 3 of CAVE's legendary games: DoDonPachi DaiOuJou, EspGaluda, Ketsui.

how can this game be any fun without rpg elements, especially grinding, tacked on?

huh a power-pad style whack-a-mole game? neat! though probably next to useless unless you have a famicom with the expansion port (or the skills to build your own) also pour one out for the family trainer I suppose... I did find it neat there were 'takeshi's castle' games for the peripheral.
