Can we just stop and recognize what a very special and strong soul our little Manny is to have not only survived what must have been a difficult birth but the daily struggle of that extra weight on his neck etc. Shame on the previous owners for not either surrendering him earlier on in his life if they had no intention of caring for him. God bless you guys for all the awesome work you do with these often forgotten animals. ❤
@elainethomas9532, if that was the case, what was he doing in a beef farm? These farms kill all their animals for the food trade, that's where his siblings will/have ended up, and his mum when she can no longer have calves, she will end up in the food trade.
@@MandA1900exactly they're a beef farm he's a healthy-looking cow they could have slaughtered him in a heartbeat but they chose to surrender him. Why do you think they chose to give him to a rescue and not send him to the slaughter house 😧
Comments has stopped, so I'm saying something here! His mother would've had a painful birth with his head! Can he be humanely operated on, to remove that leg. Be more comfortable for him!
@@darilynadams7281 I think that will be very difficult and, above all, expensive. We are not talking about a fifth leg as stated here, here we see a complicated fusion with what was left of his prematurely deceased brother or sister. I also find the rescue of this animal striking. His healthy brothers are slaughtered and the freak must be saved. Why? Because we humans have an indomitable need to collect rarities that we now share with each other via multimedia. For the views and the likes, nothing more or less.
Manny is beautiful! There is no such as perfection in nature. We all have flaws, though some are small & almost impossible to detect. Only God is perfect. Manny is beautiful just as God made him. Please give him a banana ( my favorite too) for me. I pray that he has a long & happy life in your loving care.
Actually, his fifth leg is the perfect fancy hat. In another video I saw that you had x-rays done which is good because if it’s not harming him in anyway, it can just stay. And the Christmas time you can make it look like a stocking cap.😊
This is a nightmare to me. It looks as if a hip formed on his head. The extra weight must be awful. How about the deformed hoof. Can they file it down? He does seem content, I must admit.
Thank you ❤. This baby deserves the best life ever. Mind boggling that no had the 5th leg removed from his head. I guess they didn’t think he was worth it.
Welcome Manny. He seems to be so sweet with a great personality. By looking at that sweet face, he looks to be so gentle. I've never seen a cow eat bananas, that's amazing. He's got a wonderful home with people who will love and care for him. Secondly Thank You for saving Manny, he deserves to be living the best life and free to roam around at the sanctuary.
OMG I’m an idiot 😂. I thought he was wearing a Christmas hat, tipped to the side. 🤦🏻♀️. I’m guessing he absorbed his twin? Hopefully a vet surgeon will see this and offer to evaluate and possibly treat. He has such soulful eyes. ❤

I'm not trying to answer your question, but what came to mind is what I've heard amputees say about having phantom pain in the area of the limbs they've had amputated. I wonder if Manny would experience that, too, if his fifth leg were removed. ❤🐂
@@rose8662 Because this limb is not actively "used" and likely has no muscle and limited nerve activity, he would most likely not have any phantom pain at all! But if his health is not impacted it might be worth just leaving his little "Christmas hat" because of the risks associated with surgery.
@rose8662 I actually recently just watched Dr Pol Who removed the same kind of situation from another cow.To bad they don't live by him. 😢 This is when a twin stops forming. It's beautiful that they are taking him in and loving him.
