Many thanks for sharing this video. I use a Futaba 9c super for all my planes, but just recently I've bought a Great Planes Avistar Elite which I'm setting up with flap servos. But low and behold I have in the cupboard a brand new never used Futaba 7c. So tonight I've unboxed it and I've followed your instructions on how to set up the flaps on the Futaba 7c. Thanks again, this was marvelous .

Many many thanks to you for making this video. I have Futaba 10j. But your method worked great for me. Just the 10j has all the numbers and channel select and switch select all on 1 screen. I just went to each one and put in what you said and it worked great. My % were different then yours, but still all in the same I got this done because of your video. Again Thank you for the video.

How did you get your elevator mix to the flaps so it doesn't blum?

Nice video, did you get the Flap/elevator function programmed when using flaps on the 3 position switch(G) ?

I have the same radio and am trying to set up the flaps as you are doing. However, friends have said that I should use 2 y-harnesses. One for the ailerons and one for the flaps. I have the ailerons connected to channel 1 and the flaps on channel 5? This seems incorrect. I tried following your video steps, but it doesn't work correctly. Can you provide info on how you have your ailerons and flaps set up as far as channels and if you use Y harnesses? Thanks

      Jeff,
Sorry for the super late response. i built the plane with seperate servos for each aileron and seperate servos for flaps as well. I'm pretty sure I had the flaps on a Y harness. After watching the video again I know I had the flaps on CH6.. It probably has something to do with your Y harness set up on CH1. Read the insturction manual for the 7C again and see what they say about CH1/7, it might help you figure it out. I've switched to Spektrum a few years ago and I can't remember the Futaba setup that well. Maybe try posting your question on RCUniverse or RCScaleBuilder. Hopefully this is a little help to get you up and running. Take care.
