Reading all these comments makes me realize I'm not alone. I'm not the only one who feels like this. I knew that from the start, but I didnt know all of u were this close.
Imagine crying for 30 minutes straight, reading over the texts, knowing that nothing will ever be the same, and your life is just falling apart one problem with another, and that one person you keep thinking about, is not thinking about you, and you try to help everyone with their problems but no one will ever care for you unless you say something, and your bestfriend since 1st grade lies just to not talk to you. So now you feel alone and stupid. To everyone your the happy girl, the “funny friend”, the only one single. Yeah. Fucking mint.
it's hard to be seen as the "joke of the group" since your always laughing and talking, smiling. shit hurts and we have feelings too. people are so inconsiderate and think of only themselves, wanting to be what they're not. i'm sorry.
I feel the same. I'm always smiling and always joking and always playing it off but I feel so fucking empty. I got my heart broken for the second time this year, on March 20th, 2020. It was the first day we had to do this stupid covid lockdown schoolwork in my state and I'm honestly happy about being at home. It makes me sad and makes me want to die that much more but I'm glad I'm not looking at him every day. It doesn't make it hurt any less though.

to anybody that can relate: i used to be just like you. i was in love with this one boy who made my heart soar, made everyday worth living through. it was the first time i can genuinely say that i was in love with someone. i couldn’t figure it out until i learned that he was in love with a friend of mine. i was in denial for a while; it couldn’t be her. but when you find out something like that, you observe more than you ever thought you could. the lingering stare, the soft smile, the light blush. it was 5 am, freezing cold, and i was buzzed off of my dad’s beer on the porch. looking up at the moon, i realized i was in love with him. nothing had ever hurt so bad. id cry everyday for weeks on end, id stay in my room whenever possible. i couldn’t escape him. no matter how many times id ignore him, not talk to him or my friend, he just kept coming back. i hated him. i hated her. her for not loving him back, for not treating him well, for making him hurt. it was all too much for me to bear. i cared so much about him, but he frankly didn’t seem to give a shit about me. but i didn’t care, as long as he was still there i was fine. it was killing me inside. i was SO frustrated; why can’t i get over him ? why can’t i forget about him ? i hated that i cried so much about him, wasted so much time on him. but i was so in love. i just.. couldn’t let it go. it’s been months since i felt like that. i told him; he was understanding. it gave me clarity. it took a lot of time to fully get over it. to forget his dimples smile, to not think about his laugh, to realize i didn’t deserve to be treated that badly. it took time, but it is over. i know how hard it is to even think it will end, but i promise you; this feeling fades. it ends, and the sun will rise again. it’s hard, i know. the circumstances may be out of your control, they may be. whatever you choose to do is your decision. but please know; you deserve love. maybe it’s not them. you deserve respect, and YOU ARE GOOD ENOUGH. please never think otherwise. i know this was long and i don’t know if anyone will actually read this, but if it helps any one of you, the pain i went through is worth it. you’re not alone in this world i promise it on everything i have

it’s been months since i’ve had a good cry. i might shed a tear here and there but i haven’t truly let out my emotions. i used to be able to let out my emotions by crying but now i feel nothing, i feel numb. i hate to admit it but being in quarantine is making it worse. i can’t stand being alone with my thoughts. i used to be able to keep myself distracted but now since there is nothing to do, my mind cant help but go to those dark places. my mom is making things worse. it’s hard to explain but she just is. my sleep schedule is so messed up. i can’t fall asleep at night even when i’m exhausted. i sleep into around 2 because my mom yells at me but i don’t care anymore. i can’t get out of bed. my diet is so messed up. i haven’t eaten a real meal in like a week. i’m very unmotivated everyday. when i try to do a task, i can never finish it. i don’t now how much longer i can take it.

I remember when I went to the club , it had been 6 months after a break up that destroyed me . I still loved him. That's when I saw him - across the room. With another girl. Suddenly all the memories , feelings and pain came right back to me . Seeing him with another girl made me realise that I was not over him like I thought I was. I went into the bathroom and cried for what was atleast 2 hours. Literally just crying my eyes out in the bathroom stall and didn't come out. Then I booked a taxi home at about 4am and didn't leave my house for a month . Fyi - I'm still in love with him. This hurts so much . I just don't know what to do. Everything reminds me of him and no matter what I do , I can't get over him.
This happened to me but at the gym. I thought I was happy after not seeing him... then it felt like the very moment we broke up, all the I love you s came back, all the kisses, but it’s funny to think it never meant nothing to him yet I still can’t get over him.
When love isn’t reciprocated, it is the worst feeling a person could experience. I use to be every one in the comments too. All my years in high school, my heart belonged to another person. I chased him, reaching my arm to ask for his... but he never gave me them. We dated for 3 months in sophomore year and he was my first with everything. It was until he told me.. that I just loved him because I loved the idea of having a boyfriend. On that day, I was numb. But, I remember the many nights listening to this type of music, crying until I couldn’t feel those cold tears. My throat dry, my eyes swollen, and my heart feeling empty. My chest feeling pain..it was my first heartbreak. The tears felt like they were piercing me every time I thought of him. The worst thing was that he was in my group of friends, so I still saw him every day. I loved him, he was the first guy to treat me right. He would often fool me by flirting with me as we walk home together. Teasing me by using his height or picking me up and making me laugh uncontrollably... I couldn’t resist him. As we grew up and went to college, it was then, he realized his faults. He finally asked me to become his girlfriend. After those restless nights and nightly car rides, it was all worth it. I am now unbelievably happy with him.
I am somewhat going through the same thing right now. My boyfriend I was dating for 10 month broke up with me and within a few weeks moved on and now he “loves” another girl (who used to be my friend) I’m really happy for you and that everything worked out in your favor. The timing of this popping up in my recommendations is... strange. A small vent, since nobody will see. My girlfriend called a break almost a month ago saying she was dealing with family issues. I was fine with that and was okay with it. But... just a few days ago she began to talk to me about... her crushes on these two guys... ...It... hurts... a lot... and sometimes I even wonder... was I not good enough to be kept in her heart? Did I not do this right? Did she ever really... like me? And to be honest? I already knew about one of the crushes long before she even told me... but I tried not to think of it... It just feels so silly now, to believe all those little times on how we wold say we were going to marry each other, live together happily, all that little cutesy stuff. I forgot the harsh reality and got too attached to a fantasy and ended up tearing my own heart apart in the process. And yes, I acknowledged the reality and was always... weary about if she really liked me but... in the end, it wasn’t enough to keep me from breaking... and I hate that I wasn’t really prepared... She was my happiness... She made me happy when I didn’t want to be. And... I lost her when I felt sad the most. Lately I’ve been feeling down... a lot of things, life, over worry, stress, so much... and... I haven’t been... okay? No, I’m not depressed. At least I don’t think I am... everyone... the people I talk to about how I feel... makes it SEEM like I am... but I’m not. I just overthink myself to the point that... I want to turn my head off. Everyone gets like that, right...? ...Anyway... it’s hard... extremely hard... it’s like... she doesn’t even have to do anything and I just love her even more and it irritates me so much... I just wish... that I could forget how I loved her... how much she made me happy... how much she means to me... how she was my everything. I don´t usually read a lot of comments on videos like these, I just like to let the video itself take me away to other times, but I just couldn't with this exact comment. Almost exactly a year ago I faced a strangely similar situation: She wanted some time because family, I said yes, month later she talked about a crush on a friend of mine... thing is a year later they're together... and even though I made my peace it still hurts from time to time... I like to make it seem like it doesn't, as far as my friends and family are concerned I forgot completely about her, and I kinda did, but on some times you just get sent back to "the good ol' days" and there's nothing you can really do about it... but it does get better, people will understand your feelings and help you take the pain away, even when you feel like it will never stop... it gets better.
Feel ya man . It hurts so much to be so deeply connected with someone and end up being strangers. It does get better... with time we will heal. In the end of the day we lived something beautiful at some point and thats what matters. But in order to heal you gotta feel the pain ,let the tears flow ,mourn. But also go out with your friends have fun ,laugh, you can enjoy your life and be happy and complete on your own ,i know easier said than done >.

This entire set of comments is beautiful, and made me cry. I push a lot of people away so I don't really have a story like that (probably because I haven't given myself the chance) but I can emphasize, because there are some people I used to be friends with that practically abandoned me when other people came into their lives. It wasn't on purpose (and I don't think that catching feelings for someone when you're in a bad place should be considered purposeful either) But it still hurts and mourning is healthy.

I'm deeply in love with someone. They know it, and they use my feelings in a manipulative way to get things he knows I don't want to give him. I don't understand why I'm attracted to him, and even attached, he's my best friend, but a horrible person. He uses me all the time and annoys me all the time for his own entertainment. We absolutely hate each other while we both love each other, well I love him he just likes me to be around. I make him sound like a terrible person but he really isn't as bad... Yet I think he's the worst person I've ever met though it's weird because he's the first person I've probably ever fell in love with in years. Yet he still doesn't understand how much I do love him. This is a vent, because this situation has left me broken and upset doing nothing but moping, cutting, crying and just being in pain. Hopefully someday I'll tell him these exact words and make sure he actually understands, but until then this will be here for people who have experienced the same.

And I just was in a really tough time (this was the time I lost the 2nd friend). And I felt like he didn’t care for me. So I would constantly disappear and reappear for a couple. And so would he for months. Then we just never talked again.
It’s hard having to let go of someone you’re in love with when you know they don’t feel the same anymore, but made you believe that at some point they did. Having only SOME of someone you wanted ALL of is a horrible feeling. Letting them go when you don’t want to but NEED to is even worse.

if u love him, go out of ur way to show him that- that attention and affection he possibly needs. but don't blindly chase after him if he isn't reciprocating those same emotions to you and showing/ giving u that mutual attention and love that u do him. pls acknowledge your worth and your potential- you can do just what you imagine if u don't hold back and stop contradicting your ability to find happiness. tell him to let you know when he's made up his mind- whether its on you (or whomever he decides) or not bc you can't go on like this. you must tell him this- no matter HOW sweet he is- in order to move on (maybe not over him) but to yourself and give yourself more time of the day like u so deserve, and less to those around you who possibly have no interest in pertaining to your life and cant make up their minds. i hope this helped x please contact me if u need anything and pls at least have taken one thing away from this advice even if it was not wanted. :)

i used to be just like you. i was in love with this one boy who made my heart soar, made everyday worth living through. it was the first time i can genuinely say that i was in love with someone. i couldn’t figure it out until i learned that he was in love with a friend of mine. i was in denial for a while; it couldn’t be her. but when you find out something like that, you observe more than you ever thought you could. the lingering stare, the soft smile, the light blush. it was 5 am, freezing cold, and i was buzzed off of my dad’s beer on the porch. looking up at the moon, i realized i was in love with him. nothing had ever hurt so bad. id cry everyday for weeks on end, id stay in my room whenever possible. i couldn’t escape him. no matter how many times id ignore him, not talk to him or my friend, he just kept coming back. i hated him. i hated her. her for not loving him back, for not treating him well, for making him hurt. it was all too much for me to bear. i cared so much about him, but he frankly didn’t seem to give a shit about me. but i didn’t care, as long as he was still there i was fine. it was killing me inside. i was SO frustrated; why can’t i get over him ? why can’t i forget about him ? i hated that i cried so much about him, wasted so much time on him. but i was so in love. i just.. couldn’t let it go. it’s been months since i felt like that. i told him; he was understanding. it gave me clarity. it took a lot of time to fully get over it. to forget his dimples smile, to not think about his laugh, to realize i didn’t deserve to be treated that badly. it took time, but it is over. i know how hard it is to even think it will end, but i promise you; this feeling fades. it ends, and the sun will rise again. it’s hard, i know. the circumstances may be out of your control, they may be. whatever you choose to do is your decision. but please know; you deserve love. maybe it’s not them. you deserve respect, and YOU ARE GOOD ENOUGH. please never think otherwise. i know this was long and i don’t know if anyone will actually read this, but if it helps any one of you, the pain i went through is worth it. you’re not alone in this world i promise it on everything i have

I remember when I went to the club , it had been 6 months after a break up that destroyed me . I still loved him.

When love isn’t reciprocated, it is the worst feeling a person could experience. I use to be every one in the comments too. All my years in high school, my heart belonged to another person. I chased him, reaching my arm to ask for his... but he never gave me them. We dated for 3 months in sophomore year and he was my first with everything. It was until he told me.. that I just loved him because I loved the idea of having a boyfriend. On that day, I was numb. But, I remember the many nights listening to this type of music, crying until I couldn’t feel those cold tears. My throat dry, my eyes swollen, and my heart feeling empty. My chest feeling pain..it was my first heartbreak. The tears felt like they were piercing me every time I thought of him. The worst thing was that he was in my group of friends, so I still saw him every day. I loved him, he was the first guy to treat me right. He would often fool me by flirting with me as we walk home together. Teasing me by using his height or picking me up and making me laugh uncontrollably... I couldn’t resist him. As we grew up and went to college, it was then, he realized his faults. He finally asked me to become his girlfriend. After those restless nights and nightly car rides, it was all worth it. I am now unbelievably happy with him.

My girlfriend called a break almost a month ago saying she was dealing with family issues. I was fine with that and was okay with it.
But... just a few days ago she began to talk to me about... her crushes on these two guys...
...It... hurts... a lot... and sometimes I even wonder... was I not good enough to be kept in her heart? Did I not do this right? Did she ever really... like me? And to be honest? I already knew about one of the crushes long before she even told me... but I tried not to think of it...
It just feels so silly now, to believe all those little times on how we wold say we were going to marry each other, live together happily, all that little cutesy stuff.
I forgot the harsh reality and got too attached to a fantasy and ended up tearing my own heart apart in the process. And yes, I acknowledged the reality and was always... weary about if she really liked me but... in the end, it wasn’t enough to keep me from breaking... and I hate that I wasn’t really prepared...
She was my happiness... She made me happy when I didn’t want to be. And... I lost her when I felt sad the most. Lately I’ve been feeling down... a lot of things, life, over worry, stress, so much... and... I haven’t been... okay?

I like to make it seem like it doesn't, as far as my friends and family are concerned I forgot completely about her, and I kinda did, but on some times you just get sent back to "the good ol' days" and there's nothing you can really do about it... but it does get better, people will understand your feelings and help you take the pain away, even when you feel like it will never stop... it gets better.
Feel ya man . It hurts so much to be so deeply connected with someone and end up being strangers. It does get better... with time we will heal. In the end of the day we lived something beautiful at some point and thats what matters. But in order to heal you gotta feel the pain ,let the tears flow ,mourn. But also go out with your friends have fun ,laugh, you can enjoy your life and be happy and complete on your own ,i know easier said than done >.

I push a lot of people away so I don't really have a story like that (probably because I haven't given myself the chance) but I can emphasize, because there are some people I used to be friends with that practically abandoned me when other people came into their lives. It wasn't on purpose (and I don't think that catching feelings for someone when you're in a bad place should be considered purposeful either)
But it still hurts and mourning is healthy.

I'm deeply in love with someone. They know it, and they use my feelings in a manipulative way to get things he knows I don't want to give him. I don't understand why I'm attracted to him, and even attached, he's my best friend, but a horrible person. He uses me all the time and annoys me all the time for his own entertainment. We absolutely hate each other while we both love each other, well I love him he just likes me to be around. I make him sound like a terrible person but he really isn't as bad... Yet I think he's the worst person I've ever met though it's weird because he's the first person I've probably ever fell in love with in years. Yet he still doesn't understand how much I do love him. This is a vent, because this situation has left me broken and upset doing nothing but moping, cutting, crying and just being in pain. Hopefully someday I'll tell him these exact words and make sure he actually understands, but until then this will be here for people who have experienced the same.

I’m tired of crying over this girl that I met a couple years ago. I loved her so much, I still do, and I miss her. She’s amazing. She’s incredible. I’m really gay for her. But one day I just..
I feel like she lost interest somehow, even though I’d been talking to her.
Made me feel like it was something I did wrong. She left me for months, didn’t say anything. Then told me she didn’t like me anymore. It hurt so much. I cried every night for weeks and sometimes I still do cry. It’s really hard to recover because I just thought she was the girl for me. We still talk sometimes but seeing her name in my discord makes my heart ache and my chest tighten. Whenever I saw I got a message from her I smiled but now I just feel dread.
I’m scarred. I can’t look at her the same way. I love her so much. It hurts and I’m just leaving her alone, only having pleasant chats sometimes. She lives so far away anyway, it’s stupid that I fell so far in love for her. She literally made my life happier. I thought that I was going to finally have purpose, and that purpose was to meet up one day and just... kiss her, I don’t know. I feel so dumb talking about this, thinking about the happy memories we had together makes me smile but then I come back to reality.
If you’re dealing with rejection, please don’t shut yourself away and cry like I did. Talk to someone, stay open, and recover. You can do it.

Anyways 3 months later he texted me again and that rlly fucked me up tbh. I responded and he is still so sweet but he said there is another girl who likes him but he doesn't rlly like her back. I talked to him that night and the next day I said hi but he hasn't responded and it's been a while. I don't know what to do I still love him and miss him a lot but I can't rlly do anything...

if u love him, go out of ur way to show him that- that attention and affection he possibly needs. but don't blindly chase after him if he isn't reciprocating those same emotions to you and showing/ giving u that mutual attention and love that u do him. pls acknowledge your worth and your potential- you can do just what you imagine if u don't hold back and stop contradicting your ability to find happiness. tell him to let you know when he's made up his mind- whether its on you (or whomever he decides) or not bc you can't go on like this. you must tell him this- no matter HOW sweet he is- in order to move on (maybe not over him) but to yourself and give yourself more time of the day like u so deserve, and less to those around you who possibly have no interest in pertaining to your life and cant make up their minds. i hope this helped x please contact me if u need anything and pls at least have taken one thing away from this advice even if it was not wanted. :)
