  • @Lupinemancer87

Well, that's not true. While yes, he was a jotunn, they weren't gods of chaos. They were an incredible big group, that can't really be categorized, without something about their characterization going lost. But the easiest way to look at them would be sorta of like the fey. Semi extensions of nature (remember, there were fire jotnar, frost jotnar etc.) and if someone got lost in the woods, well the jotnar probably got them

How would she cut off the snake if she was constantly helping out Loki? The cave is meant to have no escape, it is a prison. Not just that but Loki's contant cries of pain and anger could distract her. And even if she was to cut the ropes off, they are made from the intestines of a demi god, and she is just a mere mortal. She can't do much to help except prevent Loki from getting venom onto him and burning him alive. And in a way, the gods do make Ragnarok happen by making some of the events happen, though not all of them is their faults. The Gods just wanted revenge for one of theirs being killed, it was a fair punishment for Loki.

Loki was threatened into fixing that problem with a giant he didn’t create. Another point I have that the original commenter was, not wrong per say, but misinformed. You can’t decide Loki’s character on this story because it is the worst thing he ever did in mythology. @@slowpoke5975 Technically it was Hoth who killed Balder. Though it wasn't really his fault; he was blind and Loki tricked him into shooting Balder with mistletoe, which was Balder's only weakness.

I dont get, why she doesn't let loki feel pain for a long time, come back with a bigger bowl and the same bowl. And use the smaller bowl to scoop venom out.
Boom, he doesn't feel pain anymore

To say only two bigs is an act of total disrespect You should have said four times , go and come back to Asgard and say you failed , And say that this big big big big disrespect here today will not go unpunished

Maybe the Gods shouldn't have thrown Jörmungandr into the sea, tortured Fenrir, and banished Hel to the Underworld. Just saying. The Aesir Gods are kind of jerks.

      1. And the jotuns aren't?
      2. Maybe Loki shouldn't have cheated on Sigyn with Angrboda?
      3. All they did to Fenrir was bind him, right?
      4. Tyr was actually the nice guy in that story; he became friends with Fenrir and felt so bad about having to betray him that he let Fenrir take his hand in revenge.
