Reminds me of the old SC2 clip of a player using overlords to blot out the sky, then after the overlords move away you discover your entire base has been destroyed by spine crawlers
23:45: World's most combustible base. 27:35: The plot thickens! 31:05: Did not know that =o All I could think was he planned to abduct a ton of enemy units and drop them in front of the turrets. But the reverse would certainly be better! 32:30: "Mass transport is a very important priority in large utopias" xD 33:20: That is so satisfying to watch xD I admit, I was skeptical, but that was, indeed, the funniest strat I've seen!
Honestly if a player has a runaway economy it's hard to do anything about them, usually it's a mass titan wave or air wave, this time it was beamers. I like the fact the dropships can emp it makes the drop way easier.
Yeah it's definitely hyper greedy and any amount of harrassment could've been absolutely devastating! I think the real killer of this strat though is just how cheap every part of it is. The abductors aren't too much, the beamers are even less and a fighter screen wouldn't have been too much to throw on top
This Guy made an épic move. But if it weren't for his teammates protecting the front lines, he wouldn't have been able to do anything. Some games these crazy strategies work. In higher games, work as a team is a must
Amazing game and great cast! Your camera work made the game very enjoyable to watch, as a casual viewer. Appreciate the mix of icon wars + letting us get to see some of the fights/skirmishes
Ah, I managed to stumble over the original Nostradamus turret spam, that was amazing to watch. I loved the abuse he was getting from some players and then he just goes and single handedly wins the game!
Nostradamus is in the game This game has a great play Bro it has to be the Nostradamus Maneuver "sees abductors and beamers from Nostradamus" Oh yeah, it's all coming together.
The counter to the Nostradamus maneuver is the Nostradamus maneuver, itself or some other form of a pre-emptive strike. The losing team had no recon on just how much you were scaling up so they never saw it coming. JMHO
I'd say half that invasion force worth of stealth fighters would probably be able to shut it down, but who would ever think to build that many fighters?
Or presumably, just have fighters. I see no fighter wall at all, in spite of it clearly being end game. really, a t2 stealth fighter can kill one of these in about 2 seconds. Because they are spread all over the map they should immediately run into an air patrol once they hit the front line. They cost 3 times as much as a fighter, more like 4-5 times as much once loaded. and require way more APM to establish, over just "set air lab on repeat, make fighters, end". I have felt for a little while that transporting turrets has clear potential, but I felt it was in the extreme early game. Rather than try to do this in a doom drop after fighters are out, why not critical mass defensive towers and then just drop them in a forward position in the establishment phase? clearly costly in terms of apm, but ... storks are 68 metal, and 3 beamers could REALLY shut down a part of the front line and don't have to be built by the same player. And this instant up front line would counter the incredibly frustrating pro gamer move you see raghna doing, where he sees you building, or having built, a single defensive tower on the front line so he just walks up, d guns, it, and walks away again. I could really see a leapfrogging front line to just not risk your construction units, not have to rely on construction bots instead of construction turrets, and exploit the ranges of the units in question. But before mass fighters are out, because while I am not an expert in the nighthawk v abductor matchup, I SUSPECT it favors the nighthawk.
Colors: Starting with the red team Simon, top to bottom. Red, yellow, orange, hot pink, khaki or tan, salmon (your instinct is correct), pink, bronze. Blue, green, purple, cyan, dark green, cornflower, lime, and teal. Source: me eyeballing the wiki page called "list of colors by shade," LOL Could trade cornflower for light blue since cornflower is a funny word, but it's more like a gray-blue tbh.
after a kit if testing and even some successful plays I've discovered that if you hit unload then right click and drag you can get a very spread out unloading patter like we have here :)
I can't stop laughing. This is the most hilarious/ingenious strat I've ever seen. I can't even imagine what was going through the blue team's head as they flew in
digging trenches with arty and/or dguns is a way to prevent vehicles from traversing the terrain. Even some large t3 like razorbacks will not cross a sufficiently deep hole or trench from various units.
More Russian players tnt can't pronounce the names of :) The salmon player's name - they wrote феникс (feniks -> phoenix) using Latin script instead of Cyrillic. A common thing to do
I hate one bug, Where when I save the game and load the game, there are some missing icons. This problem is old but the developer side has not fixed it
I don't blame you for not knowing how to pronounce ThiThaiBinh. Vietnamese is a tonal language and there are no marks, but if I had to guess it would be "Tee-Tai-Binh".
This map is a good example of defending choke points: Vule set up defenses so that they could maximize firepower at the point where opposition has to limit firepower, whereas Korp put defenses WITHIN the choke point and thus limited their firepower. Small point, but hey, what's the point of defending a choke point then? Edit: ok, maybe that was early on, since things changed about midway when Zombie and that other red team player came through and creamed Vule, hahah
Meh, it was inevitable. Just look at 9 minutes. devilman has a massive hole in the middle of the front line, where he not only doesn't have defenses for his metal spots, he hasn't even claimed them, and at 19 minutes, he is trying to slow build a gauntlet with a single builder. at 9 minutes, he STARTS a factory on basically his front line, with nothing but 2 LLt's in front of it, and then he loses his commander and chain reactions his factory due to an afk commander standing on his own front line next to a completed factory with no units or defenses shielding it. He got some side leaks for sure, but didn't recover at all well, didn't seem to have anything like enough build power, and was just a horror show of uncapped metal nodes, and no real energy production due to building all his solar collectors on the front line and losing them.
Shit shoulda never got to the first AFus. Any amount of scouting raiding or bombing should have happened. Id be livid to have orange on my team trying minute cheese strats
@@BrightWorksTV for sure, I was pretty harsh lol. But at some point of a backliner only ecoing for that long they can basically do whatever they want and will probably win. This was a fun way of that happening. But it says more about the ones who lost. Again I'm to harsh, it was a match everyone in game seemed to enjoy.
I think flak might have been emped and you'd need a LUDICROUS amount of fighters... In my opinion the only counter I can think of is preventing a runaway economy like this
It's gotta be the fastest I've ever seen an ENTIRE TEAM vanish into a puff of smoke!! And I'm pretty sure the way to do it is hit unload then right click and drag like hell all over the place :)
Just watched till the razorback leak. lord....I dont wanna be that mean, but, the amount braindeadness from these folks hurts my head. The dead comms killed so much of the base...what on earth were they even doing while their own comms killed majority of their base?
That strat was definitely beyond all reason
XD
15 minutes in, you could have given me 100 guesses for how this game ends. And I still would not have thought of this. Bravo.
hahaha my thoughts exactly but this took the cake XD
Reminds me of the old SC2 clip of a player using overlords to blot out the sky, then after the overlords move away you discover your entire base has been destroyed by spine crawlers
Hahaha yes that's exactly it!
ruclips.net/video/B4XJmoD2qFI/видео.html .. Yeah I can see a resemblance

Not so static defense XD

Honestly if a player has a runaway economy it's hard to do anything about them, usually it's a mass titan wave or air wave, this time it was beamers.
I like the fact the dropships can emp it makes the drop way easier.
Maybe, but the sum total of Blue team's eco was greater than that of Red's. It hadn't really run away that far.
Yeah it's definitely hyper greedy and any amount of harrassment could've been absolutely devastating! I think the real killer of this strat though is just how cheap every part of it is. The abductors aren't too much, the beamers are even less and a fighter screen wouldn't have been too much to throw on top
Was in this game, super fun game was pretty close then suddenly 1 player just ended it with something none of us had seen before xD
What a legend!!! The flawless execution and near discovery was fantastic 🙌🏾🧡
Right!?! They were so close to finding it out but just barely survived XD
they were holding 3 against 4 for thirty min, orange did nothing untill the end. I dont play this game, but its what it looked like to me.
This Guy made an épic move. But if it weren't for his teammates protecting the front lines, he wouldn't have been able to do anything. Some games these crazy strategies work. In higher games, work as a team is a must
I agree, the team held well enough otherwise there's no way this could have worked haha
I've watched the ending 3 times 🤣💜
Amazing game and great cast! Your camera work made the game very enjoyable to watch, as a casual viewer. Appreciate the mix of icon wars + letting us get to see some of the fights/skirmishes
Thank you! It's taken a lot of practice to switch from jostled rapid movements to smoother ones so I'm overjoyed to hear it's turning out well :)
That was absolutely epic, what a strat
Finally found THE Nostradomus video!
Omg I thought I was in on a noob game.... and I loved EVERY second of it!!! Hilarious. Needs to go viral
Ah, I managed to stumble over the original Nostradamus turret spam, that was amazing to watch. I loved the abuse he was getting from some players and then he just goes and single handedly wins the game!
Fun times, gg everyone! I will remember this loss for a long time (humble). You also have at least two of these replays, since I also sent you one!
I’ve seen this done to a MUCH smaller scale. Absolutely hilarious
when they blot out the sun its a whole another level XD
Algo love
Over any other RTS outside the Annihilation genre, at least. PA and SupCom are as good, in different ways.
Yeah, I really enjoy watching some games of BAR. Liked playing TA as a kid, but BAR is another level beyond.
That's legendary, I can't believe that happened!
Now that's a moment to go down in history
Ahh the man of many com drops! I was wondering what you would think about the Nostradamus maneuver
This was actually amazing. Completely insane but this is the best play ever made.
I was vule in that game. Yep that was insane 😂.
Nostradamus is in the game
This game has a great play

That was fantastic. I love it.
Wowsers that was so satisfying to watch.
The best kind of devastation!
You could say orange player went beyond all reason with their strat
Bruh
I have to say that was a great play. The easy counter would be scout early, scout often.
Or presumably, just have fighters. I see no fighter wall at all, in spite of it clearly being end game.

@@timmietimmins3780 If the enemy has figthers, you just have to have some figthers aswell ^^
13:15 "Bro where are you" had me rolling
Hooooo-llyyyyyy transports! 😯😯😧😧
Wooow...that...that.... I'm speechless.
my thoughts exactly HAHAHA
Wow. Imagine seeing that coming for your base.
a little something for the algo
omg that was absolutely epic
Thank you friend :)
that was hilarious thank you!
you got it mate XD
Man, that was fun to watch!
Excellent!
That's some absolute 4D chess moves
That was a legendary strategy 😂

Crazy good. He got lucky that nobody saw his eco or had a bomb run near him.
IKR? One volley of bombs and the whole base is gone ;p
that was awesome!
I like Salmon color fits it well
Holy crap what a move! I had no idea this was possible!
Man, this game...!
You counter this with T2 flak btw. The same way you'd counter an equally sized army of late game T2 bombers, with flak AA.
I'm not so sure! Those emp beams would shut them off and eventually some are gonna get through!
This was awesome!!
Bit of a clickbait title but all worth it for the end. Truly one of the strats ever.
This might be the BAR game ever truly a match of all time!
amazing
Insane..
what is the keystroke to unload all over the map like that? Unload command then drag a huge circle or what?
Yeah I just hit the unload key then right click and draaaaaaaag a nice big line hahaha
And this is why you build flak.
I wonder whats his hotkeys , im rank 30 and have no idea how to unload like that
after a kit if testing and even some successful plays I've discovered that if you hit unload then right click and drag you can get a very spread out unloading patter like we have here :)
*How to use this strategy.*
Step 1) have a team that can carry you for 35 minutes.
Hahaha precisely
Speechless...
(yet i'm commenting..)
Aggressive Salmon
Wow and wow
I can't stop laughing. This is the most hilarious/ingenious strat I've ever seen. I can't even imagine what was going through the blue team's head as they flew in
Right!?! They must have just been stunned as all hell XD
EMP lasers
digging trenches with arty and/or dguns is a way to prevent vehicles from traversing the terrain. Even some large t3 like razorbacks will not cross a sufficiently deep hole or trench from various units.
Very interesting! I'll have to investigate this further some time!
why do you build with a bubble blower? at least the music is nice
We're building air.
What are we doing with it?
*TRANSPORTS!*
XD you can tell it definitely wasn't what I was expecting
More Russian players tnt can't pronounce the names of :)

Hahaha thank you! I will forever struggle XD
Impressive, but honestly only viable in lower level gameplay. The opponent's lack of air presence and scouting really help this strat to work.
How did that work so well?
Emp plus beamer is crazy I guess haha
I hate one bug, Where when I save the game and load the game, there are some missing icons. This problem is old but the developer side has not fixed it
What is the name of this Total Annihilation clone???
This here is called Beyond All Reason :)
Did Nostradamus also predicted that beamers will suddenly become too heavy for an air transport?
haha not sure what you mean mate?
@@BrightWorksTV A possible nerf.

No he did drop them! The transports just flew right over and set them on the ground!
Great now slowly but surely more and more players will try this 💀😂 someone let the devs know we got a problem 😂😂😂😂
