No wrestling booker is the perfect booker. Vince made a lot of crappy decisions but most wrestlers still love him for what he did for their careers. Allegations or not, it's so sad that you people get on social media and disrespect this man constantly because he didn't book the outcome HOW YOU wanted it. This lie that Vince was terrible the last few years is stupid. You rather focus on the negatives when Vince had some positives. Bobby became world champion. He brought Cody back to the company. Kofi was world champion. Drew was world champion. Becky was a double champion. Big E was world champion. Stone Cold wrestled for the first time in 19 yrs. There are more examples of Vince doing good things in his last few years in charge. Mega MMA fan here so was cautiously enthused to watch this. Gotta say, nothing with her has changed, she’s still full of herself and loves to listen to herself talk. She strikes me with a bit of a “Hulk Hogan vibe” in that there’s half or partial truths to everything but you don’t really know what to believe.
    I was honestly shocked at how much she was slurring her words and I don’t doubt it when she talks about her concussion and neurological issues.
    I gotta say though she seems happy with what she’s doing in life and being invested in it and her hobbies and activities. These will keep her brain ticking and as be as healthy as it can be moving forward.

    There's a certain irony that Ronda was actually a better professional wrestler when she didn't really know how to be one and relied on her real combat training to be believable in the ring. The more she adopted the actual professional wrestling style, the worse she became in the ring. WWE never should have tried to change her, just let her be savage and destroy the other women (and some men). Unfortunately, just like her MMA career, what most people will remember about her WWE career is how it ended, which wasn't good at all.

      She was a better professional wrestler when she had 6 weeks to train for and choreograph her match. I'd argue that any reasonably athletic person with a bit of acting chops could accomplish something similar. A huge part of being a good pro wrestler is about being capable of putting on an entertaining match with anyone at any time, and she wasn't around long enough to develop that skill. THAT is what takes years and why most people toil in lower-level promotions for so long.

    She’s not popular with the wrestling crowd but tbh her first run wasn’t all that bad. They could’ve played more to her strengths as opposed to exposing her weaknesses on live TV (every time she had a mic it killed the crowd)
    Her second run was just a mess. They done nothing to improve her and seemed to take what was bad in the first run and keep going with it.

      I don't know about that. Ronda looked like a million bucks beating everyone but that was not going to last. She always have to be propped up as number one.

    • @Meh57
      @Meh57 2 месяца назад +1

      That’s where WWE went wrong in the first place. She never was a babyface or even a heel. She shouldn’t even have been a character.
      Her name alone carried enough weight and it was probably the name they needed to sell a woman only pay per view and wrestlemania main event (of course aided by the overall strong work of the women’s division around this time).
      Like Brock Lesnar she should have just been around to kick ass and make sure her losses count. For some reason Vince had her on the mic, around way too often and had her as just another member of the roster.
      I agree her attitude does suck and is a HUGE deterrent but you could draw similarities to Logan Paul. An extremely unlikeable individual but they play to his strengths. If you put him in a match every week it’s sink or swim.
      Unfortunately that happened with Ronda and she sunk
