- This is my experimental process for creating fine thread from Lomandra, a native Australian rush. It grows everywhere here. These leaves were collected from my garden.

Much faster to rub the fibres up and down your thigh to spin them together and achieve the ply you want.

@@Time.and.Spoons i will try record one soon! It's quite simple, you use your palm to roll both strands up your thigh then backwards to spin them together
