Anton, the graph at 26 min (Carbon 14 spike) shows a decrease before the spike; doesn't that suggest a Forbush minimum? (solar flare and a CME from our sun)

    • @SacredOwl
      @SacredOwl 8 месяцев назад +1

Another words, something outside our solar system could not create a Forbush minimum. I believe the Carrington event was during solar minimum, so really our sun is sometimes not predictable. Another theory would be that our magnetosphere weakened allowing more cosmic rays in and there was no event.

@@Ezekiel903 I don’t think any credible scientist makes claims about how the universe came to be. So far that cannot be measured and most think it never will. The scientific theories begin after the “moment of creation”. If you’re religious there is no reason to refuse the current scientific theory of “the big bang”. It makes sense, why wouldn’t our creator, make an expanding universe? There is a measurable moment in the expansion of the universe where it becomes transparent and there is “light”. If I were religious, I would consider that measurable moment quite significant considering the first words of certain holy books.

i believe the earthquake lights are probably something as simple as static electricity caused by the friction of the tectonic plates. Theory(-ies) for the earthquake lights...
Disclaimer: this is with college-level understanding of physics and an imagination.
When the plates rub against each other, triboelectricity is generated via friction which creates an electric field between the clouds and the upper atmosphere, creating excitation leading to the earthquake lights. Remember lightning is just the result of an electric field between the crust and the clouds, so maybe these lights are just that but on 2 different layers?
Alternatively, what if it's to do with Cherenkov radiation? The footage in the Araculpo earthquake in Mexico showed blue lights, which is related to Cherenkov radiation.
Maybe the earthquake's waves do something to the Earth's interior layers that affects the magnetic field locally? Allowing more charged particles in?
Ok out of ideas for now.

    "Nobody Can Explain"
I don't get why people use that phrase on science content videos. Isn't that the very essence of science itself?
That's why we do what we do. Finding explanations for things that need explaining.

    • @MichaelPohoreski
      @MichaelPohoreski 11 месяцев назад

Yes, it is an _extremely_ arrogant and ignorant statement especially W.R.T the clusterfuck of Cosmology. People should say *mainstream Science* or even better *I can’t explain* instead of _pretending to speak for people they have never even met._
Once you move away from the ignorance of mainstream Science towards Fringe Science (or even higher Spirituality which has knowledge) there are LOTS of theories - some just need more than evidence before it gets adopted by mainstream Science. The hard part is sorting out the 0.1% signal from the 99.99% noise which needs to be abandoned.

Let's consider that under immense pressure, matter (as in atoms) start to break down. Electrons are released. This is the process of fusion.
Therefore it seems to me to be very reasonable that the weight of two tectonic plates generating considerable point-loading pressure on rock in the crust could generate a release of electrons that resulted in an aurora-like glow above the pressure zone.

Our Galaxies, solar systems, planets, moons and any other things here in the universe are all related. “Spooky action at a distance”, if you will. The same way we have a hard time locating electrons after a slit experiment, still a physical object or a wave, is the same as lights around our earth. Our earth is a particle of an atom known as our solar system. Therefore it will have smaller particles around it and acting on it. That is of course a generalization but it’s true and we will find out much more as we experience these things. I read a book about Planet X and other things that talks about the electrical charge, from our sun to everything in the solar system and even comets.

As Betelguese burns more in it's core it is brightening significantly and then cooling off like a cepheid variable. This is in a star much more massive than a typical cepheid. These cycles show very dynamic interior fluctuations not supposedly supposed to happen in a star this massive because it is so hard to understand how this fluctuation happens through so much gas and shell levels. The outer shell is causing this fluctuation as it effects the surface brightness so much. This makes outer shell burning unstable not effecting the inner core which progresses on the destruction. So much core surface fluctuation means a much higher percentage of the total energy is produced as the inner core becomes less and less intense. It must be a very specific size to produce these effects as this is untypical or maybe closer than any star approaching detonation.

That new phenomenon is called a solar surface excursion. The larger ones are solar micro nova. Because the surface gathers dust going through it's galactic current sheet. Like a sweeper. A star is liquid metallic hydrogen. You can't get the spectral lines we see if it was plasma or gas. It flies in the face of what we have established with good science, yet it gets swept under the rug. The nova is cyclical and is a feature of all stars. The large ones happen with the galactic pole reversal. About every 12,000 yrs. And it happens to coincide with our pole reversal. Which happened about 12,000 yrs ago. Which just happens to be our oldest lost advanced civilizations are dated to. Which might explain our Atlantic anomaly. Which might, just maybe be the reason the super rich are going under ground. Not unlike ancient people that we know had knowledge of the cosmos. I'm just saying the science is there. The evidence is there. And once you learn the truth about it. It sucks. And it's scary.

@whatdamath Dear Anton, in one of your videos you discuss possible causes of the "carbon spike" (spime of carbon14, unevenly distributed across Earth), while in another the topic is a so-called "massive surface ejection" caused by a large object being absorbed by a star. Could there be a link between such two events, meaning the carbon spike on Earth being caused by the Sun absorbing a large object?

The lights dont come from the earthquake... they come from space. It's thought that cosmic rays lubricate the ground and makes the stored stress ionize the air which then is illuminated.

Triboluminescence is the crystals resonating in a frequency that ripples spacetime..
light isnt a photon racing its way through space, its a ripple in spacetime, the photon itself died the moment it gave its energy up and dumped it into spacetime, and depending how much energy was dumped you can see a change in the colour of light it is emitting as its frequency is higher or lower..
Think of a 1 lightyear cube of space and place 1 photon inside it somewhere around the middle, which direction does it travel?
without time its stopped, you wouldn’t even know where it was it would be invisible until you poked it or had some interaction with it, like the uncertainty principle says, but unify spacetime and it allows it to ripple with information
it (the photon) doesn’t move, it propagates its energy onto a field of spacetime, it plucks the fabric of space and sends out a ripple of evidence like waves on a pond thru the dimension of time. It is no real different to sound waves transmitting through a medium, the voice doesn’t send audio photons at you, it propagates waves thru a medium, air.. light does the same with spacetime
From the photons perspective it died the moment it transmitted its energy and information onto spacetime,
what we see is just an illusion of the past, remnant information of places long dead or different, one side of a galaxy a million years younger than the other as its light travels past itself, in reality spacetime is just rippling and flowing with information, some so close its micro seconds away and others of places long gone, if you could teleport there you would have to compensate for the shift over time, and what you would see when you got there would be nothing like how we see it today..
from an outside observers perspective to your 1 light year cube of space they would see the "light" hit the edge of the cube about 6 months after hitting play on the experiment, to an inside observer they witness the ripple of spacetime come past them and their eyes send signals to our brain that it did indeed see something it would consider light,
We trust our own eyes, ears and touch but they are all so easily fooled, we are just chemical stimulations and electrical signals processing information, our brains make sense of things as straight lines but the universe is rarely doing things in parallel lines, we can look into the sky and see the same supernova multiple times a year as its light takes different routes around other energy fields.
Thats all it is, energy fields, if E=MC2 its everything, space and time, and nothing is quite as it seems until you experience it, if you could see every wavelength of light coming from every source of energy it would be blinding, even closing your eyes wouldnt stop it.. you would see everything but also nothing, so our bodies were tailored to filter out all the excess noise until it all made sense.. its hard to grasp how weird and backwards things can be from how you expect until you start to put yourself in that position..
Take the perspective of an object, now looking at the object I might see you as red, because you are reflecting every wavelength of light back at me in that spectrum, but think about it, to the object it is absorbing every spectrum of light, except for red, so it might say it was the negative of red, our eyes are making sense of that information and we all agree what something is, but its all our limited perspectives
in the orbital perspective in KSP docking 2 craft you dont simply point and fire the engines towards your target unless you are already in visible range, if you want to meet up you lower the trailing crafts orbit by slowing down and then speed up to get back on course once you are closer.. its counter intuitive but you only make sense of it when you have experienced that perspective, we are real limited on our understanding on how the universe is because we like to compensate for things not making sense to us..
like The Earth is a sphere but it is equally flat.. in a curved spacetime things that have a certain amount of mass and energy form a spherical shape naturally, an orbit is a straight line going through space around a mass.. from the perspective of a space ship in orbit its going one direction all the time, straight lines are spherical around masses of energy
like If I made a 1 mtr cube out of spacetime that you could see the edges of void of any gravitational or other influence and unwrapped it on earth it would be ever so twisted with that distortion our planet has on space. Straight lines are all coming from your limited perspective on things, but say I made a same cube of 1mtr space around a black holes event horizon what would it look like? what would it look like from around a supermassive black hole or right around the singularity if you was to bring it back to the earth and un wrap it so to speak..
its all a bit weird when you think about it and yeah what we see and can touch are packets of energy, thats solidified or crystallised out of spacetime, after being formed in unimaginable hell that is a core of a star or supernova.. everything wanting right now to decay back to lead once you past that point of stability, but in a younger universe at different pressures different elements are technically possible, there could have and should have been elements that decay in a microsecond now lasting for an eternity.. just change that scale and perspective.. hell if you are on a scale where i second for us is a million years for an observer then they would technically have a different periodic table of elements, that to them seem stable and like they couldn't decay any faster than the observable universe would allow, but thats because you are microscopic and your energy resonates infinitely smaller and faster compared to those giants
looking back it seems like space rapidly expanded, but thats the illusion of a 3D expanding space, it would be logarithmic
what if it is all expanding nice and orderly like a ripple through a void, space and matter and everything is just vibrating energy fields.
They always talk about the tick rate of the universe, C
The universe's tick rate depends on the scale and perspective.
A second for a human will feel different to a fly with 1 day of life.
A second around the infinite energy of the big bang would be billions of our years,
the fundamental forces stop existing at certain pressures and temperatures, at what point does gravity become moot.

If you have a supermassive black hole and turn gravity off beyond the event horizon spacetime that was infinitely wrapped around itself can pop into a void for all eternity. as long as it doesnt travel faster than light the singularities event horizon will never be reached.
it can have a big of a bang as it wants and it will still look like a black hole to an outside observer
Imagine the entire universe was once on a pinhead, all of space wrapped up so a straight line wouldnt have any meaning, time and energy and space all just one thing, energy bursting to be released, super confined and just begging to expand somewhere, at that point in time you could make a 1 mtr cube box of spacetime inside that slither of spacetime, if you opened it up now it would be bigger than the observable universe and nothing like a cube,
time would be ticking infinitely fast on the inside (to an outside observer) but might follow all the same laws as now if you was in there experiencing it on some scale that it made sense to an observer.. .
Imagine it existing somewhat like a star, its radiation constantly coming back on itself with those tidal forces, it would cook itself, just a slither of spacetime surrounding an infinitely dense thing.. and then just like that gravity becomes unified and space is free..
thats how i see a big bang happening, and our universe was free to expand and that energy to condense out into different forms.
If you look at the speed of light as the universal tick rate it changes with scale of the board, the physics change ever so slightly until its little inputs give big outputs, if you could shrink down between atoms it would feel like empty space, fundamental forces pulling you in equal opposite directions, even if it was in an oxygen environment your lungs wouldnt process it,
your eyes wouldnt react to the light, it would be wavelengths too big.. but would it be so different to being in space?
Zoom out, like right out and the universe looks more like an alloy or foam, a structure or web, all connected.
We are String theory in motion, being plucked and pulled, the butterfly effect on the macro scale. Its all just scales and perspective,
from the suns perspective its only done 20 or so rotations around our galaxy, in terms of the universe thats nothing,
what kind of tick rate would it be if the universe was sentient and information had to travel from one side to the other, its tick would be well, universal/eternal, just a neuron firing between galaxies at the speed of light can take millions of years..
Everything is energy, packets existing in spacetime, from the galactic scales right down to ours there is little difference.
We all exist trying to propagate evidence of our existence, trying to hang onto just a little bit more time
All victims of the universe and its jokes, with cultists in control believing in their gods

10:53 what if these lights are just actual lightnings in a 'storm'? as you said, the rocks are highly charged. it's like a storm front, but in the earths crust, not it's atmossphere. Differently charged plates drift apart and this cuases discharges, the drifting plates and the moving material undernieth also effect earths overall magnetic field and cause the observed aurora effects. in a way earthquakes are the thunder in a tectonic 'storm' and vulcanos create the 'rain'.

I've always thought the pulsar would be spinning on an axis and wobbling so the emissions would come and go,. Somewhat like the earths different rotations and wobbles, I don't have the numbers but I know it spins 24hrs but the axis changes by thousands of years in various periods.

    The voices in my head have something to say about these "strange earthquake lights" that look like ionized plasma;
"I would guess it's possibly from ionospheric energy taking a shortcut toward the ground through released subterranean gases much like electricity in a neon tube but the gases are in a rising cloud that may be spurting from a fissure and the gases may not be noble."
"With such a possibility presented I would caution any low-altitude aerial machine operators to avoid flying during earthquakes in this time of subterranean uncertainty be they reporters or emergency services as we can not know where a gaseous fissure will erupt along fault lines."
"Passing passenger flights will likely not be effected except regarding landings and take-offs as they typically fly above the effected layer of atmosphere."
"Military actions will be effected and visibility will be low, it's the perfect time to strike! but we only have a short time until activity resumes following aftershocks. Prepare the fleet! *incomprehensible screeching*"
