I thought about getting one to rehaul along with Ghostface also but itd be more money! He looks amazing I don’t understand why they can’t make him look like this! great work!
Thanks! Yeah it’s rlly not that hard, they need to get with a company that will let TOTS make the masks for the prop so that the faces can look more accurate. It would probably be way more expensive though.
Amazing my dude! My only suggestion is to paint some detailed more bullet holes where Loomis shot him 6 times. What I would do is use an X-Acto knife to cut some holes in the correct spots. Then add a mixture of black, alizarin crimson, and a hint of brown paint over the holes! Other than that, he’s gonna look great in your haunt!
Yeah, I’ve made bullet holes for other Myers Jumpsuits before, I didn’t want this one to be from a specific movie, I made it a kinda a mix of H2 and H1 as my own type of Myers, I might add Bullet Holes in the future though!
This is a great modification! I was planning on doing something similar myself because I didn’t care for the original design of the prop either. This makes him look wayy better!
Brilliant! I'm loving the shape of the mask. It's very accurate to Dick Warlock. Would you happen to have a link to purchase that exact mask? Thank you and well done! New subscriber here! 💯
Thanks! And thanks for subscribing! The mask I used is a TOTS H2 V2 mask that has been repainted and Rehauled. So unless you can Rehaul masks it probably won’t look exactly like this one sadly but the shape of the mask should be the same.
I have a TOTS 1981 Myers mask, and I can assure mine looks nothing like yours.. Yours looks much, much better and I’m not just talking about paint and hair. The nose on mine is so wide it looks like he is from Africa, and I bought mine many years ago. I also have a TOTS 78 Myers that has a decent face, but still has the original hair, which looks lousy. By the way, I was in Junior High in 1981.. You’ve done a good job with your copy of the mask. I just don’t like the one I have. Need to find another 81 mask that looks more like the film mask. I personally think the TOTS masks are hit or miss. I only buy them now if I can actually see the copy i’m going to purchase, in person, before paying out the money for it. I won’t buy a new TOTS mask online, where I get whatever copy they happen to send to me.
@@Komet163B where can you purchase the TOTS masks in person? I feel I would need to do the same instead of purchasing online. I would prefer a screen accurate mask.
@@damianhbk1 I bought all of my Myers masks from a Spirit Halloween brick and mortar store (one of their rented stores during the Halloween season), in person. I went to three different Spirit stores, in my area, and cherry picked the best 78 Myers I could find. I did a similar thing for my 2018 Myers. I think my 78 only needs a repaint and new hair to look film accurate. I bought two 81s, one that looked more like a 78 mask, and one that had a “Warlock” looking stretch as it was in the store. The one with the warlock stretch, I feel the nose is too wide looking, and the mouth slants more to one side than others I’ve seen, including this one he used on the prop in the video. I sold the 78ish looking 81 after I bought my 78. I was surprised to find out last night, this was news to me, that TOTS no longer makes or sells any of the Universal licensed Halloween masks. So no more Halloween II or III masks from them and whatever else is Universal. I have an early set of TOTS HIII masks that don’t have the “Universal license” cast into the mask. I got those in the fall of 2014. Early ones only say “Trick or Treat Studios”, “Sculpted by Justin Mabry”, “Made in Mexico”. Later ones added a lot of Universal verbiage and removed Justin’s name.
He looks really awesome, great job!! How did you wire the new sound card to use the same motion sensor as the animation and go off at the same time? Also do you have a link to the sound card you used? Thanks
Sadly I didn’t actually wire up the prop with new audio, on Halloween I’m going to have him on constant mode with the audio I made on a loop playing from another speaker.
For a temporary rehaul looks good, way better than the actual prop. If you do continue to fix him up in the future I would say to find a accurate color H2 coveralls and giving it some bullet holes as we as dried up blood. Another thing that could be added but you don’t really have to is replacing the knife with a scalpel since this is a H2 licensed prop, feel that’s more iconic to that film specifically than the knife imo
Yes this is just a temporary Rehaul, this also is just kinda my own version of Myers it’s a H1 and H2 mix, I probably will add bullet holes in the future, I probably won’t change the knife out for a scalpel but it has crossed my mind, H2 is my favorite movie in the franchise and I wish we would get a H2 Myers with a scalpel especially with how many props and decorations are licensed under H2, love the scene were he lifts the nurse up!
Hey friend, I subscribed, love the video. Can you Bluetooth or add my own Halloween music to this Michael Myers? I just bought him, added my touch to it, but I really was the soundtrack playing through him. Thanks!
2nd Part to this! ruclips.net/video/key1MYpF1gY/видео.htmlsi=djtQTDjWplv1o5j2
Great job - that mask makes all the difference… he looks 100X better!
Thanks! Yeah the old mask looked pretty weird, so I knew I had to give him a new one!
Wow! Ordering this Myers now! I’m adding my own mask also.
The rehaul we needed to see! He looks incredible with that mask and jumpsuit. Great video!
Thank you!
The Demos start at 7:17!
Looks great! Maybe someday we will get a proper MM prop from someone.
He looks so much better!! It’s sad how we only ask for a bit of realism from spirit and it’s so disappointing every time, but you did an amazing job
Man, that mask makes the prop 100000x better. Love the finish it has! Gotta get some spruce green coveralls on him next!
That is badass!

Oh I see! Well, if you end up doing interchangeable coveralls, I highly recommend doing that with a knife and acrylics. It’s scary realistic!
Looks AWESOME big improvement.

Huh?
What size coveralls did you use

How were you able to get the new mask over the head with that lump in the back?
Took a lot of maneuvering but I put part of the mask over the front of the head then kinda shimmed it down to fit it over the back.
Oh ok. I think you convinced me to buy him and try this out
How’d you make the audio?
How did you change the audio on the animatronic
I didn’t actually change the audio on the animatronic, I just made an audio track that I will play from another speaker as the prop moves.
