My father is a businessman and always says that bohra Muslims are always fun to work with and also intelligent to cooperate with.
As a Bohra Muslim, I just wanted to add that we emphasize not just on basic education but also some sort of higher education, specialist skills or PhDs. And Qardan Hasana is provided to almost every kind of need. Be it business, education, pilgrimage, medical needs, life improvement, etc.
I actually muted the notifications but after reading the comments today, I feel like I should clear a few things.
1. If you think we are not following Islam of Rasulullah then please read Qur'an carefully. Islam was way back then Prophet Mohammad. It is mentioned in several hadees and kalaams as well.
2. I'm not answering some questions on topics like khatna and Haj, because to understand the logic you have to understand a few important things that can't be really explained in a RUclips comment. If I write them here it only sparks unnecessary controversies.
3. Meeting with other religions, doesn't mean we are performing any sin. It is called Building Communal Harmony.
Living with people who come from different walks of life improves understanding and tolerance. Having only one religious state can make us living in silos, where you can easily come under dictatorship. No need for examples I guess.
Hope it clears a few queries, please leave any questions if you want to know more about our history, culture, etc. I'll be happy to answer them.

They follow the best way of life which is Islam. They just don't preach these things to other Muslims. I am sure they can change other muslims by teaching them also. Muslims need to come in power so no Hindu, Christian, Jew, etc can govern us. We need, have and want to be politically, socially, financially, physically, emotionally, lawfully, economically, etc. strong so we can stand proudly in Maidan e Hashar and don't have to go into Jahannum. And FYI, Muslim Women is empowered by Islam not Muslims. Muslim Women want to learn rights from Schools when they can read ahadith and Quran to learn their rights and shut the ones who stop them from doing these things. They obviously cannot deny the Quranic Facts. I just hope people get to know that Sharia Law is not about killing Non Muslims. Infact, it gives them more rights than Muslims😂. And Non Muslims are the ones who are scared of it. In Sharia Law, They just can't be a PM. But they can be everything else. And For Women, Sharia Law is gonna be the most peaceful law. We need Unity among everyone. If Muslims Get United, this World will be the most peaceful place to live. But I think now the end times are near. In past (Before 1000s) People were living peacefully even when most of the countries were under the Islamic Law, The law created by the creator and not any ordinary human).

@@qaima_ Bohra Muslims is a sub sector of shia muslims and Moharram is not the month of celebration it's a mourning month and the beliefs are almost similar between shias and bohras, the difference is that bohras believe in a leader/Dai that will teach us the right way of practicing islam.

I've lived in Nashik for sometime and I was overwhelmed by the way Hindus and Bohra muslims coexist! Bohras help us in our Ganpati Pandals and even attend the pujas. Whereas you'll see Hindus wishing even a passerby Bohra on a scooter 'Eid Mubarak' on Eid. I'm grateful for Bohras and will always stand for their community whenever needed.

Bohras tend to be model citizens. They have a lot of good values. I like their free meal concept where they distribute food to all Bohra families once a week in consideration of the women in the family. People distribute food as charity but have you ever thought to distribute food because you believe women in families deserve rest atleast once? Now that's extremely impressive and thoughtful. Also they never waste food. How thoughtful and noble and progressive of them

I have bohra friends they are great people and their community is ever welcoming to every Hindu festivals even in Shobha yatra their community arrange various stall for providing refreshments, on Ganesh chaturthi they too donates money each and every year and sponser Ganesh celebration in their area, this is how a peaceful muslim looks like

As a Bohra, I like the detail that has been covered in this video back to the origins. Absolutely neat details, though I was just wandering that when you talked about the Women Empowerment you didn't mentioned the "FMB (Faiz-ul-Mawaid Al-Burhanniyah)". It's an absolute game changer as it's kind of a community kitchen where all the food is prepared on a central location and then distributed among all the Bohras so that Women doesn't have to be stick into the Kitchen all the day giving them some freedom so that they can pursue their ambitions. It's been followed worldwide and not just India or Pakistan, and almost every Bohra is having Lunch & Dinner everyday from it.

Having lived side by side with them in Western India & having experienced their hospitality what surprises me is that in South India people within other Muslim communities have hate towards this community, in fact I landed in a tight spot once debating the goodness of these people with Muslims of other communities. Met a bohra community family while travelling from Ahmedabad to Mumbai. Found them to be well educated, sharp and humble. For the first time in my life i found a muslim community thrashing all the pre emptive notions i had about all of them.
They were converted from Brahmins.
