I'm torn. I've been waiting over a year for this character to be reasonably available and she still isn't. So I have an opportunity to get more shards of her with this event, but if seven star remains for all intents and purposes unattainable what's the point? Have you done any testing on her viability at 5 or 6 stars?
no. Wont change her much in bg if 6 or 7. But no raid below 7 - thats the thing

My thoughts on this, presumably the event will be coming back soon as they are likely working on getting it ready so get a few of the early tier rewards for her without going too hard, then when it comes back you'll be that much closer to the 7*.
Plus you're getting double rewards right now with that other event going. Yay.
Hello, when you summon her how many you can get from the upgrade pack? 30 or more?
