I went to middle school and high school at Verdugo Hills with Giancarlo before he transferred to Notre Dame, we knew him as Mikey, he was a good friends with us, i remember when he signed to the Marlins and told us he was gonna play for them in 07. I remember us telling him to buy us new cars haha good times, i remember us wanting him as friends to go play football at USC but he said it was a risk factor because if he could get hurt and he didn't wanna pass up going pro at a sport. I'm glad he made the choice to play baseball made the 818 proud forsure glad he was a childhood friend of mine wish him nothing but the best in life Godspeed
@@Mattwieters58 I haven’t spoke to him since high school but a bunch of friends that i still occasionally see still keep in touch every time he’s in LA he gets em dodger tickets and takes em out to lunch, well at least before he went to NY. Since i known him he was always a standup person and was a sportaholic none stop sports he had practice after practice lol
Baseball players definitely are some of the toughest athletes mentality wise, as they deal with criticism the most. Props to all guys who ignore the noise
Bro!! I been following R2C2 since day 1 on the Apple podcast! I have always thought to myself “fuck man, they should get these interviews on video because they would be straight fire!” Happy to finally see one!! Let’s beat Oakland tomorrow! Let’s go Yankees!!!!!
Ryan.. Great job!! Love the big guy and Giancarlo interview! They both have passion and heart for the game they love playing 👏👏 I also Love when Giancarlo rounds third base and Scoops Phil Nevin's hands when he hits a HR💣 CC is a champ on the mound and I always trust his stuff 😉
CC defenely right about what he's talking about it.fail sometime are teaching to make ajustesment on you defend. One thing that I always admired from Pedro Martinez was that he never when he was in the mount he was fearless and focus on his net pitch.that it's something that you don't build up you born with it.even that I don't like red suck, but in my point of view Pedro Martinez was one of the most amazing pitcher I ever watch.as Randy ,Gmaddu, dcone,dw,and few other that never doubted about the way of pitching.baseball are the best thing in our lifetime warranty.
They didnt realize corporate logo behind them. They weren't representing the Brand very nice being free with their mouths, but otherwise great interview
Daniel I remember a game where he threw someone out at home and the broadcast cut back to Judge and you could clearly see him say “don’t fucking run on me” 😂
You can tell Stanton was nervous about cursing in this interview and once he heard CC curse, he then felt comfortable about dropping F Bombs.
Lmao once he dropped one once he didn’t stop
Oh wait, I'm in New York!! Profanity, and cussing some one out is an art form here!!
