Its so rare that a musician gets overnight success. Its almost always a combination of really hard work and someone giving the musician a chance. However, getting noticed doesn't always work because if an artist is just copying a sound then no one cares. I have studied a lot of musicians and most of the successful ones truly don't care about fitting in and just love making music. The Mowglis are like this and it shows. I use the same mentality. if you're one of those people to give a nobody a shot, stop on by to see what I'm about, I've been putting in the work and it may surprise you. Either way, keep loving the music!!
The Mowgli's have been working very hard on their own sound forever. If you have missed their music, check out their first album, of which nearly all songs are available on theMowglisVEVO. Everything these guys do is fantastic, and the sound is unique--and the kind of music I had more of to listen to.

Really? Their music is pretty basic pop sounds. They are conforming in pretty much every way. I'm not saying they're bad, but they certainly aren't being risky or trying anything even remotely new or unique.
I like the vibes and that's why I'm here, but man their lyrics are incredibly contrived and unoriginal IMO. I'm not saying it's a bad thing, but these guys were "given a shot" because of their music's accessibility. I'm really surprised that this seems to be a common praise by Mowgli's fans. Again, I'm not saying they're bad, but I am saying originality is the last thing I'd think of in terms of what actually makes them good.
Harry: compared to what I hear on the radio every day? Yeah, they're fairly different, and I'd rather listen to that than some of the junk that gets radio play.
