I had such terror in my mind last night on bed even though the day was good and filled with friends and a good work day. But in bed i was thinking about my ex and all the things she said and did and the breakup really came as a "sudden disaster" and "ruin that overtakes". And now since 5 weeks I am seeing a new girl, we already did many things together; I ate dinner with her family, baked cookies with her younger sister, brought her little brother to football, and showed the other two brothers around in the gym for their first time. When the video said "do not withhold good from those to whom it is due" that struck me cuz even though this girl is really sweet and good for me I just don't feel in love like I was in love with my ex. I think about my ex everyday (mostly involuntary) but God has literally given me so much better but I am blind to it. I hope and pray God will change my feelings again so that I can recognize His blessings. Things are better now but my feelings are still in the past. It's like longing back for Egypt while God has already placed you in the promised land. Just make me feel again, God.

At least then you could tell that righteousness was important to them and they are willing to fight until they can fight no longer to attain it. However today the practice is rejected wholesale and worse than that the people who do so aren’t even honest about doing it. It’s one thing to be adulterous, it’s another thing to be adulterous and then turn your spiritual harlotry into righteousness in your own eyes. Lord have mercy on us all…
