Good morning. Thank you for sharing this video. I've never seen African Americans hunting, whether it's rabbits, turkeys, deer or feral hogs, this has made my day. My father used to hunt for rabbits in Georgia many years ago, but that by word of mouth, but this is ACTUALLY seeing it. Once again, thank you. Take care, looking forward to more videos.

@Tonio Yendis & @grapas100..... Listen dont get a attitude with me. I know blacks have been hunting since their beginning of existence. You two talk to me like U think im a stupid guy who knows nothing of hunting. I been hunting my whole life, i go to hunts all over, hunt public & private land. I go to the Dixie Deer & Hunting Classics in the south every single year. In case U dont know what that is: Its the largest Hunters show on the southeast coast of the USA. And occasionally you might see a few black guys there but they're far & few between! I once hunted a Dog hunting club in Person County NC America which had several thousand acres & we had 100+ members & some one day guests of the members. Only 4 members of our 100+ members was black guys. And to make it clear to U its not because we didnt ask black people to join! I ask my black guy buddies fellow club members why they didn't have more friends & family to join & come hunt on our club? The mens response to me is there's just not many blacks that's interested in hunting.
So to clearify my response to Mr Benson with all due respect was its nice to see my fellow American black men hunting! I also said we need more black men hunting. So dont try & make comments to make me sound like i meant my comment any other way than i said it! Look listen up when i said what i said I was speaking to a fellow American & i don't give a crap about the color of a mans skin. I dont judge a man by that, I judge him by his character! Ive got several black friends i consider more loyal than alot of my white friends. So i dont understand why U got ur pantys in a twist about my comment?
Im not talking to a group of men and (ammending them 👍) about them hunting when the statistics are very clear that there really is a small number of black men that hunt in The U.S. So im not Amending them for someone to come along & make crappy comments to make it look like i didn't know what i was talking about !!! I never said one word to Mr Benson about his ancestories ability to know how to hunt.
What my comment was aiming at is We need more Black men along side whites huntin in America. Because the liberal politicians are constantly trying to attack our 2nd Amendment rights. More black men & Black women hunting along side their fellow white brothers & sisters will make it easier to fight to keep our God Given Right of our 2nd Amendment Alive & Well. THERE IS STRENGTH IN NUMBERS!
So in closing: i don't think Mr Benson took any offense whatsoever to my comment. Real men are above petty stuff like that.

@@tonioyendis4464 * you are wright . My father and older brothers use to take me hunting for rabbit squril deer quail when I was about 9 years old. Iam in my 70s and still love it .my father also made hare gum (rabbit trap) . Fishing traps too.
Years ago i had to go into a river covered with ice to retrieve the my hound. She was going under the ice it was a long walk home. Your beagle has some heart crassing thet river. Great video

Ive never seen dogs used to run rabbits. Here in South Texas, we hunt late afternoon. I find them close to senderos on the shade side of the bushes. In most cases, they won't move, unless they think you've seen them.
My dad taught me, if you see one up close, dont look at them directly.
Rather, keep them in your peripherals and move the gun in their direction and then take aim.
I've killed more cottontails less than 10 yards from me. Walking slow and quietly, I walk up on them and they just freeze long enough to get a shot.

I'm an older hunter at 68 years. My first rabbit was with a single barrel 20 ga. at the age of 9 and hunted every year since. The transition from a young boy hunting with my father and uncles' friends to hunting with my buddies and our sons and nephews taught me that the fellowship of the hunt, talking trash and hearing such outstanding dogs work is more than equal to the fine table fare for that Sunday dinner. Great job and video guys. Keep it going.

hey guys,i use to live in wetumpka,alabama many yrs ago..i know all about rabbit hunting and squirrel hunting...never could stomach rabbits or squirrels though.but i could throw down on some deer meat when hunting season started in alabama every yr in november
