- Whether you have never hunted rabbits, use to as a kid, or still hunt rabbits on the weekend currently, this video is for you. This cold morning in Texas, we set out to check some uncharted territory with Mandel and the rest of Swampa Nimrods kennels. In this video I capture the entire process of how to hunt rabbits with beagles. Rabbit hunting is quickly becoming one of my favorite past times. Enjoy the video!

God has blessed us with these amazing dogs that I cannot believe they can not only smell the rabbit but stay on just the one they smell until it's brought to the gun. Like a finger print?? That's why you have to check them in. If that doesn't tell you God is great nothing will!!!

A nice day hunting. Some people think that you need 10 or 12 dogs to have a good rabbit hurt but you don't when you are going in places you have never huntef before. I am in Cofield North Carolina. I don't hurt anymore but I love to hear a good chase. I hunted with 5 dogs and less headache. I love the way you guys spread out and can see each other. That's important because of safety. Keep hunting and gunning.

I had a good shep. border mix , he sight hunted of course . Always got some rabbits , we'd run the creek banks and he would grab them out of their nest , but would never kill them , just hold them till I got a hold , then bunny chopped . But my friend had a good old beagle , like taken candy from a baby ,ha ha , have a blessed day !

Great video!! Man, we used to hunt rabbits all the time with beagles. Coyotes are so bad around here it's hard to find a rabbit anymore. I miss that rush!

They’re making a comeback in almost every state unfortunately. They’ve killed a ton of small pets in the past year where my parents live, in the mountains of Washington state. Their semi-feral cat unfortunately became a victim. I keep telling my dad he needs to take up coyote hunting but he won’t.

Nice looking hunting country brother and nice video. I grew up rabbit hunting in western NY, with and without dogs, in thick, thorny, nasty cover, and still have some thorn slivers stuck in my hands decades later to prove it! But, I wouldn't trade those good times for anything. The Lord Jesus been good. Praise the Lord!

When I was in high school, my grandma would come over just to let me know she had a bunch of returnable soda bottles. I knew what she wanted when she would say, you can buy ammo for your .22 and plenty will be left over to buy yourself something. Heck grandma just the ammo is a payment for me to do what I loved. 1. Go hunting 2. Make grandma smile when I would bring home my limit of rabbits!!

Awesome video. Love watchn the dogs work. I get to hear my beagle bay every time someone walks by the house, or when there is a rabbit or squirrel in the yard, and he goes bat shit crazy when he sees a cat. So its pretty much non stop

Awesome video!! Reminds me from when I was a kid hunting rabbit’s everyday after school here in Ohio.
The rabbit that stood still and you got the second shot on reminded me of a time that I was rabbit hunting by myself, no dog. I came upon this one rabbit and he was a real good size one just sitting still and I couldn't believe I didn't scare it away. I took aim and shot and got him and I was excited. I walked up to get him and the poor rabbit was caught in a trap, He didn't have very good luck that day, First caught in a leg trap and then shot by me. It was a pretty weird experience.

Great video. I grew up hunting rabbits with beagles that my dad and uncle raised. I loved that hunting easy more than deer hunting. I haven't hunted with dogs for close to 50 years.

Truth dogs aint out there crying wolf. I have hunted with some mouthy dogs before . Can't stand it. I love some hounds. That bark whens its really hot or they look at him. Real dogs. Only the best. Good running. Sounds good .
