I was really good friends with a lot of these guys in junior high as well as in high school. Than they turned into a bunch of pedophiles and jerks as soon as they got semi famous. I was in a documentary called dragon slayer that won an award at South by southwest As well as other Awards at Different showings. Because of This documentary I got to travel to Europe which was amazing and to my surprise and disbelief The Documentary I was in, thought I did not think I would be the main focus of, however they turned it into a suburban love story Between me and my Boyfriend at the time now thank God ex boyfriend turned out to be a pretty big hit. It was played on showtime and netflix I believe you can still purchase it on RUclips. Anyway the band audacity were not aware of this when I asked them if they would play a show after the 1st vewing in LA even after I offered them free tickets to come and see the documentary and told them that the producer of the movie/documentary really liked their band and that's why I was hitting them up because he had mentioned them and I said that I grew up with them and was friends with some of the guys in the band. They got back to me like they didn't even know me and told me to contact their manager, remember these were people that I knew for almost 10 years at that point in my life. They all thought they were too cool for school as the saying goes. They wanted money to play until I told them what it was for and that the movie had just won awards at South by Southwest and then they were all gungho to play for free at the after party after the viewing of the documentary. They are such hypocrites and creeps. Me and the lead singer Matt had a crush on each other in highschool that never really went anywhere thankgoodness because he was accused of statutory rape by several girls. I specifically remember when he came to the viewing that he was with a much younger looking girl who looked to be about 16 and at this time we were both 20. They took advantage of these naive high school girls and never really had to face the repercussions of their actions. I do like this song a lot because it reminds me of growing up in Fullerton, an amazing city when you are a teenager ready to explore without parental supervision. I just couldn't believe what jerks they have turned into. They only did the show because It was associated with something famous especially in that genre and crowd of people, not because I had known some of them since junior high. I would be super happy for them that they had a good career and were able to travel because of their music if they weren't such a******* and pedophiles. They are the Phoniest and some of the most disgusting people I grew up with. Even before the allegations of statutory rape came out they were total jerks to anyone who they didn't think would advance their musical career, or if you weren't a 16 year old naive girl. It is disgusting to use you're fame as well as drugs in alcohol to groom and sexually assault minors. So if any of you are reading this f*** all of you. You should have known better you did know better. You grew up as rich kids with good parents and beautiful houses in suburban neighborhoods. They knew right from wrong they just decided to disregard it because they thought they were the shit, had humongous egos and could get away with anything. Even though several girls, women now, have came out and told their stories about what these band members did to them when they were 15/16 years old and the band members were 20/21 years old they never got in trouble and still have a music career. I think you disgusting, degenerate idiots should have done jail time for what you did. They all knew better and still did it anyway scarring these young women for life.

I don't know if this is intentional, but the opening drums sound eerily like the Shagg's "MY Pal Foot Foot". Bravo!
