If there is a next game Pieta should be the protagonist. Adyr is gone and no longer a threat, and the big danger now is the Putrid Mother and Umbral. Pieta is basically a daughter of the Putrid mother that rejected her heritage to serve Oreus, it doesn't get more heroic than that. Plus, her parasite makes her resurrect after death, which makes for a great justification for respawning. It just makes sense thematically and mechanically. On top of that she's got a cool solar sword and a devil trigger transformation. It just screams protagonist material; tragic backstory: check, hidden powers: check, redemption arc: check, badass design: check.

But this is the souls community were talking about, they will just be like "shit boss is ez" and ignore everything else. Saying that though I did find the adyr fight underwhelming, was waiting to fight a god not get exposition lore dumped on me for 5 mins whilst I have to fight the deacons of the deep if they were the final boss.

I do everything as the video said, everything worked…until…last step i speak Molhu, and cinematic brings me Mother Lull, i went through the 4 soulfly, and the last cinematic started, and the game freeze out! After come back plenty times, always the 2nd soulfly when i click, the game freeze out. If sometimes happens that i can reach the end, then the video didnt pop up, nothing happening. So no umbral ending, no trophy and cant get ng+…just always the same error code ce-108255-1. Anyone had this issue pls? Or any fix? :(
Question. How easy is to understand the route for each ending. I mean for regular ending it's obvious you want to stop adyr, but how subtle are the hints for the umbral and pyro endings? Can you mess them up, or the game properly hints to what you have to do? Asking for people with small brain power for puzzles or Sherlock Holmes level of deduction
the normal route is simple, just go kill bosses and clean the beacons. Easy, leads to normal radiant ending. The inferno ending, is similar. Just don't touch the beacons. At the end let Adyr convert the rune into empowered rune and then go turn the beacons evil. Then go back to where you fought judge cleric and use the rune on her. The umbral ending is super fricking complicated and half the time confusing. I got stuck several times. You need to beat harrower dervla, and make sure not to clean the beacons. Next buy the clump from mollu at the hub, and use it at the shrine in harrower dervlas boss fight area to enter mother's lull the entity there will give you pods with npc names. Go and use the pods on them and kill them. These include Damarose (found in adyr Shrine Fitzroys gorge), Gerlinde (the blacksmith in hub), and melchior who you use the pod after sundered king boss. You also need to take the parasite from lightreaper kill and place it beside mollu, then the iron wayfarer who will be found in fief valley. Take his parasite as well. In the meantime you will need to turn the Adyr Rune you get into an umbral one by going back to mothers lull. After that fight with elianne, and then follow what i did in the video. As i said 3rd one is complicated and confusing lol.

Besides the awkward Touhou boss projectiles, the fight actually looks fun. Shame all the endings I've seen are just a vague cutscene and text to explain what happens.
If you progress the level normally up to point where there is a archer with a few wolves and you need to climb a ladder to pass a closed gate he should be standing on the ledge overseeing the village. You have to be in umbral to see him though.
Forgot to ask if it's not too much trouble. So you got Pieta Dark Sword here and unlocked a new class. If you start a new game with that new class, does this game have a stash system so you can give dark pieta sword to your new umbral character you just unlocked so you have a good umbral sword? Or is something like that possible only through co-op? Aka give it to someone and that person gives it back on the char you want?
nah only way to transfer sword is to do NG+ and yes you can drop weapons so you can ask you friend to take the weapon and send it back to you on a completely new run
@@Rubhen925 you must’ve farmed a ton for those stats. I’ve spent so much time on farming and at level 150 with dark crusader class, my vitality, endurance and mana bars are half your characters size. And with how expensive it is to upgrade past level 150 I can only imagine how long it took you to farm for those stats lol. Nothing wrong with it. I’m just impressed haha

I have spent too much time on this boss. Even with cooperators summons we cannot beat her.... I am okay with that... I chime in every few weeks and try again... I can get to at least half of the first phase lol

Absolute ass of a bossfight. There's like a million eyeballs at once, Elianne and her clone keep flying the fuck away. At some point in Phase 3 she does an attack that practically takes the whole arena. God I hate gank fights

Lot's of elements in this game reminded me of the Soul Reaver series.
This fight is so brutal in NG+ just one hit from those eyes and my 1200hp wither a lot

She will be revived by a "god?" after you defeat her. She is the npc who upgrades your healing item in this game

This boss is definitely inspired by pontiff sulyvahn from dark souls 3, still a great boss though.
This boss is actually inspired by Pieta considering 95% of Elianne's attacks are the same as Pieta's.
Or darklurker from ds2, can clone itself, also looks quite similar, can use a purple energy blade and black orb spam magic 😅
