The arrangement of " Sunny " was brilliant being a slow , mid rage pop song , transformed it into a fast pace soul song fit his style to a T ........................
I loved that part sooo muchhhh! His rendition of Sunny is one of the best parts of this concert, truly one of the best concert footages of black music and live black music performances in general.
I don’t think JB had a cold or was sick here. If I remember correctly he had a separate earlier show and that was the one that was recorded for the Album. So he’s probably a little Hoarse during this one.
This was the day after that album was recorded, he's still hoarse like this there too, although he sings better in general. He was getting pretty awful voice issues around this time from 71-73 to my knowledge.
@@VinVonVoom 20 years of screaming plus the acrobatics on stage, the strain on his voice was starting to show. The man was purely superhuman with his insane touring schedule.
Naturally less than a week after I post this @YEBISU_VIDEO posts a better version of this on his channel, check it out!: ruclips.net/video/utiGh3HHG4c/видео.html

The Polydor label reminds me of James Brown
who wore an Afro on the
label.
