Dear Kylie- your page is gorgeous! It’s so interesting to see how all the layers come together and the finishing touches are stunning. Love the found words and beautiful music. Off now to work on a page…and get my project shoe box organized. Looking forward to seeing you in the BadAss sessions soon! Until next time!💖🎨🙏
I love this journal so far! I want to make a similar one, just waiting on some supplies. There's something about using ragged fabric pieces as hinges that give a journal an old world, natural feel. I love it! I love the music you share. I have looked up the various music artists that you've shared and I listen to them as I craft as well. So much better than the so called 'music' they play on the radio here in America. I'll take soothing music over that noise anyday. 🤭 Thank you Kylie🌹🎨📚
I am very much enjoying this series Kylie, I am wintering in Spain and I brought a few supplies, this is something I can do while here! I love that!💕🇨🇦
Another beautiful journal page Kylie!! I find it so relaxing to watch you create, and the music helps too! Thanks for sharing!! Stay safe and healthy! xx
Gorgeous page! Your journal is just going to be amazing! So enjoyed watching you create with the relaxing music... Thank you so much for sharing, take care x
My problem is that I finish a project/paper too soon for fear of ruining it. When you used the indigo ink, I held my breath! But your pages always look so beautiful when completed. I think I need to be bolder.
Thank you Kathleen. It can be hard when you have something that you are pleased with and are worried about ruining it. At these times I think I subconsciously ask my self if I am happy with the entire piece as it or does it feel like it needs more and I also say to myself that’s it’s only paper and I can restart. That approach can be harder with a painting but it still helps me push through those moments of hesitation. 🤗
Kylie with the passing of my husband last week - i am trying so hard to sit and enjoy your videos - but i just cannot as of yet - i need time - i will be back - i enjoy and admire your work - be well and stay safe xx
I'm very sorry for your sad loss. Time and rest will help and when you feel ready you could find some peace and comfort in creating. Art and creativity have the power to heal.
Dear Janet - I was so saddened when I read of you loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment - I very much appreciate that. Please take care and make time for self-care in whatever way you can - even if it’s just finding a moment or two of quiet time for yourself. Sending love and gentle hugs to you xo
Oh, my gosh!!! Enjoyed the music, love the page, too. My biggest thrill was seeing that gel prints you used that was burgundy, black, and gold! My mouth was hanging open in awe! How do you do it?? You are amazing. Your taste in music is a delight!!! TFS 🙏🥰
Oh, I love this page and your concept of a page a week. I will be late starting obviously, but I'm inspired to grab some scraps and seldom used supplies and join you in this project. The fabric hinges are perfectly imperfect too. Thank you so much for sharing.
Love this book and how it is growing. I was worried when you put the Indigo ink on! Amazing result. I think I liked the "finger tool" best for the gold paint! 😊 I'm looking forward to getting home and back to my papercrafting to start/try a little book like this. I've already found a source of quotes I want to use in place of your found words - maybe 😉. TFS ❤❤❤
