He's quite good at playing Qin(ancient Chinese instrument). When he's playing the instrument and refering to the mountains, a man named ZiQi(子期) heard it, and said:" Wow, perfect, it's as great as Mountain Tai(泰山, Chinese people believe it's very important and it's like the emperor of all the mountains)." When he's playing the instrument refering to the flowing water, ZiQi said:"Amazing, it's widely flowing like the rivers." Every emotional feeling and everything that BoYa was trying to express, ZiQi can feel it. When ZiQi passed away, BoYa believe that no one in the world would ever understand his music like ZiQi, AKA there's no one would be he's "someone who knows your music"(translation word by word). So he smashed his Qin(the instrument), cut all his strings, and never played any music till his death. So it's like when you are feel good and created a music with the instrument, some one is feeling your joy, then he laughs with you; if you are feeling blue and created a music with the instrument, he's feeling upset and he's tear droping for you. A little bit ancient Chinese romantic story.

You guys should check that out. better prepare a translation for that song before you listen. it's a very powerful meaning song for the family sitting at the audience. summary it's about this deaf child wanted to gather all the sound for her parents who's also deaf. they work very hard to get her child a listening kit by selling food at a roadside stalls.
