One of my favorite things to do is to fish the beach. We spent 2 days flying the drone and searching for fish on the beach. We found a variety of life cruising the shoreline. At the last beach we hooked a giant blacktip shark. I harvested the shark and brought it home for dinner!

If you use drones... You might as well just BUY the fish. From a fishmonger.
It's like cheating (where fishing is concerned)
We are unfolloiwng all you tubers with click bait thumbnails. I hope you will join us in this trend. Goodbye @landsharkoutdoors
@@neillynch_ecocidologist i don't think so because by the time they got there the sharks were gone
@Clark_tactical who is going to be left to watch??? Also the meaning of clickbait is so subjective
The shark in the thumbnail was 5 times bigger then the one you caught thats false advertisement
I’m over here thinking you caught a world record black tip by the thumbnail😂
nasty work
Yeah me to that's y I watched the video
yeah Victor doesn't need fake photos to get views, too bad his editor doesn't understand such things
Mann Ong
Man having all this fishing on your doorstep...so glad you dont take it for granted. Here in the UK we rarely get clear days for fishing. Love watching your trips! Cheers
I used to live there. You can literally throw your bait in a storm drain and you will catch something. The UK though....
You guys have the huge Bows in the fresh and monster Cod in the briny.
@@jeredalmeida1880 Cod yes at the right time of year and quite far out. I stick to Bass close to the shore and Pike in the rivers and that keeps me happy ✌🏻🇬🇧
@@bitcoinbeastHell yeah, bruv! Keep them lines tight and them pints full. 🐟🍺✌🏽
I live on the Bristol Channel. These videos make me hate my fishing life 😂😂😂😂 spose I should be lucky to live near water eh???
@@bitcoinbeasti like yo attitude gang
I'm sure I'm not the only guy that needs to see how you prepared that shark. Thank you
only reason i clicked on this video...
I’m confused on what your trying to say, I’m sorry

@@caitmenze2839 Everything he is saying they did at 19:30 (head, fins, guts removed)
Yeah. Would be interesting to see. I'm always curious how people prepare various kinds of fish for cooking and eating. But I understand why you don't necessarily want it in a more general forum like youtube.
You should do a unlisted video of the cleaning process. Id like seeing the other ways people may dispatch a shark or any animal. Its def very educational.
100% this would be helpful to those who do it who are first timers to it and those purely interested in it. I wouldn't watch it but i can not deny it would Educational on how and ethics of it.
@@theplaguepadart3743never had shark but always wanted to but didn’t know how to prep it
I was thinking same thing. Separate channel even for stuff maybe some wouldn’t like to see. And less advertising 😂
Unlisted and EVEN PRIVATED videos can be taken down by youtube still. It’s a myth that unlisting videos helps at all.
Facts
So sick of youtube censoring harvesting videos. Wish you guys would keep showing it so the rest of us can learn as responsible fisherman
Your father in law is definitely thinking he hit the jackpot when you joined his family. I always love watching his reactions to eating your food..man is just happy to be there!!
I hit the jackpot marrying into the family!
I just love how your family supports you and they're daughter. I would have love growing up in your family. Best wishes to all of you and your family. Y'all are the best. Some day when I grow up I want to be just like you. (Mind you I'm a 61 yr old woman) 😅😅
Thank you so much!
9:59 the way u forgot made me chuckle
i would have loved to see you gut the shark properly, really the only reason i clicked tbh
You're wrong for that thumbnail lol. RUclips needs to bring back the dislike button 😂
Ngl he does that a lot with a lot of the vids. Kinda misleading
Literally every single RUclipsr does that lol
I really like this channel but this thumbnail was terrible. Vik you’re good because you’re usually authentic don’t fall into this RUclips shock clickbait crap.
A little editing shouldn't hurt yall feelings...just watch the content.
Luckily we don’t see the count but it’s there
It does stink a bit that even though it's educational and for many the only way they can learn, demonetization has to be an issue. Idk why ppl who are bothered by it watch these videos to begin with. It'd be great to be able to see the process
Family having a good meal together is always the best part of any video. Congrats
Two tipps for making any kind of schnitzel:
Pound out the meat between some baking paper with a small pan or a meat mallet. That way the schnitzel stays nice and thin and even. It also tenderises the meat.
The second thing is to not press on the dredge. That way the coating throws nice big bubbles like on a Wiener schnitzel. You can help the cooking by shaking the pan to get some fat overtop or baste the schnitzel. This increases the bubble formation too
Nothing is more exciting when Beach Fishing... Than Shark Fishing!
love when you come back to your root, Victor , keep up the good work!
Bro, after the meal was served, while you were breaking down your first bite, everyone else was straight up, grubbing!! I'm sold on Black Tip! Appreciate your videos!!!+
I swear brooks dad loves victor more than her 🤣
Loved the videography on this one! Definitely nice to get the full picture! My favorite videos are always the shark and snakehead catch clean cooks.
Could you make a separate channel where you actually show you gutting the shark and all of that? I think it would be interesting to watch and learn about.
Ricky reppin that Tak Waterman
Checkers Old Munchen has entered the chat 😂
I came here out of curiosity from the thumbnail only. I wouldn't have watched it otherwise
Back during my high school years, when weekends came, every, along with my friends, armed with vinegar, salts, soy sauce and peppers, we hunt sharks and put it in fires.
This I how all your old videos used to be. Not saying I don’t love the new vids but it was good to see you take it back.
31:01 me always when mom makes good food 🥘 🙏🏽

Your boy Ricky really knows how to use a popper
After a milk soak, I think blacktip is my favorite fish to eat. No bs. After a day in milk, especially small blacktip, the meat gets closer to a scallop-like consistency. It's so different and wonderful. I wish I could buy blacktip at the market.
Sounds great!
Staying true to his name!! Love it.
Love to see you back to your roots
Tightlines
I loved getting to know your area, thanks!
am I the only one in awe of this guy's lifestyle?
Definitely brought me joy seein that blue water lol, cold out here
Yes! More shark fishing please.
There were some young men up on Hutchnsion island using a drone to send out bait. They camped over night and were very successful.
First video I have seen of yours…I dig your humbleness and cool energy. The laid back and chill but positive energy is something you don’t see much on RUclips. I’m a forever subscriber. Now, I’m craving blacktip shark steak though. 😂.
Is that Jiff Fluff on your fridge??? that is like Doug Flutie Flakes on top of Everybody Loves Raymond....Very Rare.LOL
Fascinating! In Canada, I watched a Shark recipe but they sewed the shark with herbs (perforated the meat with holes and pulled herbs/spices including garlic through it).
Shark Schnitzel, totally cool, never seen it before. Well done.
Great job on this catch and cook. So nice to see family enjoying dinner together. ❤
For having to prepare so many Dishes and Food, that I've seen you do, this one was over the top and using Black Tip Shark...outstanding...!!!
Thanks for watching!
@@LandsharkOutdoors Not a problem, it's been quite a while and I'm still here...I can almost tast some of those recipes that you've come up with...enjoy...!!!
I love this channel because it's one part epic fishing and one part mouth-watering cooking :)
Brooo love your videos, you got me into sharkfishing caught my first blacktip in Jupiter beach. What beach do you recomend to sharkfish with my boys? Preferably southflorida as I live in miami. yk a good spot to night sharkfish as I have not been able to get any bites everytime I go sharkfishing ;(
That is great that you all get along so well. Awesome video.
Vik you're content is so frigging addictive! Especially during the long NE winter months. Thanks for the drone shots. Sure makes me miss Florida! The curling of the fish when cooked is due to freshness and missing one important step when harvesting. Iki-jime (brain spike) and shinkei-jime (dispatching the spinal cord). This relaxes the muscles and stops them from firing which results in the conservation of ATP (adenosine triphosphate) within the muscles. ATP keeps the flesh fresh and clean. The by-product of the muscles firing/contracting is the use of ATP which produces the byproducts lactic acid and ammonia. The latter two spoil the flesh and cause early degradation. Iki-jime and shinkei-jime also allows more blood to drain due to the relaxed state of the flesh. Fish harvested and cooked on day one (super fresh) will often curl unless iki-jime and shinkei-jime have been practiced. Fish harvested and cooked on day two or more usually won't curl because the muscles have had time to fully relax.
Thanks for the tips and watching!
Oh my....everytime you cook....it makes my stomach hurt....from hunger....I'm from Texas...but when we go to Port Aransas...or Rock port ...we always catch shark...they've always been a crowd pleaser!! Well done guys!!!
Living in the keys and diving almost daily while growing up I will say without a doubt black tips are the only sharks that worried me. Bulls got close but were chill. Black tips had no chill.
Been watching your videos for quite awhile now. 1. I'm very envious of your fish cleaning setup, just throw your scrap in the water, very different from here in Minnesota. You can't throw fish offal in the water here or on shore. If you don't have a special screened in fish cleaning outbuilding, then you clean the fish in the house because of mosquitos. 2. Mashed potatoes: 5 lbs. russets (preferably Idaho Russets), 1 stick butter, 1 can of evaporated milk, salt, and white pepper. I leave the peelings on and a few lumps in them, that way people know they are eating real potatoes.
Hey Vic! I have something you NEED to try! Whenever we make chicken cutlets, ill get up in the morning and squeeze a bunch of lemons into a bowl, add some chopped garlic and fresh italian parsley, cover, and leave in the fridge. Whenever the cutlets are ready to serve, take out the bowl and dunk the whole cutlet in the garlic lemon mix. Absolutely amazing!!! Not sure how it'd go with the shark, but worth a try!
At the very least try it on chicken cutlets, you won't regret it!
Sounds amazing
@LandsharkOutdoors thanks for the always great content, keep up the good work!
Great video Vik! I always enjoy your C.C & C shak videos!
Dude this is awesome. you're a professional chef too. honestly, I love seeing this stuff. Inspires me to go catch and cook some food for my family. I wanna learn more! keep it coming.
“That is where the Bloodline is.”
Me: Oh lord when did Roman Reigns get inside of sharks
Shark is excellent eating as long as (as you stated so well) you bleed them as soon as possible to avoid the ammonia. And the best part is that the species that you are allowed to harvest in your area tend to be very sustainable. In many parts of the world it is marketed as "Lemon Fish" because people have an issue eating shark.
I love dad forsure .A REAL DAD. An the Whole family 😊
Nice catch, nice to see your not taking liberties and respecting what you caught by eating and not wasting things.
Would have loved to have seen the dispatch.
A tip for amonia in flesh, soak in milk to draw it out.
Damn. We finally got to 100 dollar frozen TV dinners. We have arrived folks.😂
Right after he landed the shark I swear I see a baby shark flop away
Shark schnitzel who would have thought about that. Viktor did! Fun video. I’m going to make the garlic scallion mashed potatoes for sure.
Best fishing channel out there👏🏼 I look forward to every video. The fishing is great the food looks great & especially sharing it with the family.
Thanks for showing me, show different ways to cook Seafood.
Thanks for watching
Pops was excited about this 😂
Stuart is my home town love to see that your out here fishing man keep up the great work
Such a great video, congrats on the catch bro. That looks sooo good tbh, I never had shark but I’d love to eat some
Enjoyed watching! You have a great life out there!
I live that you talk about conservation status of Florida vs the world. Not enough people realize that local populations of particular species has a different story than three group of species world wide. Thank you for discussing this
How did you dispatch it ? Baseball bat then hacksaw?
Dennis always passes the vibe check
loved it start to finish
Good video 👌
Thumbnail is hilarious 🤣
Thanks 😅
Best looking shark fry I ever saw!
That looked amazing
Amazing content, I have always been into fishing and fishing for sharks is one of the most favorite things for me to do.
Sponsor should let you do a deep dive on their food prep and the different facilities they use.... Such a tough market
Gummy shark is served in most fish and chip shops world wide
looks good ive only had it grilled but will have to remember this way
Don't overlook the possibility of dipping those fried shark pieces into MILD hot sauces;-- Louisiana, Pete's, Chokula, etc. Feel free to chase it with ice cold American lager.
Wow be a great way to warn people of danger around them. I would definitely be on the beach at low tide
FMA fan in that black tank. Heck yeah. Lol. Love your videos, man. As someone who loves cooking and fishing, I really wish I could make it to the ocean more. Stuck in Ohio for now. Maybe one day.
Dang Vic! How long does your surf rod really need to be!? 😂😂😂 In the intro it looked like a 16' rod!
Great job!
Yo I kinda disagree about not showing the dispatching/cleaning of the shark. I am planning to harvest a shark (if i can) to feed my family while I'm in Florida and I'd love to know how to properly prepare the body of the animal. Still, I can see why you'd cut it out for casual viewers, but maybe a specific video on that topic could be helpful for guys like me.
Keep up the good work, man! Looks like a ton of fun to catch and just as much fun to eat 😁
Like the way everybody added their thoughts.....cute, lol, cool vibes......
I was taught by a boat captain to never grab a shark by the front, especially for a photo op. They can bite you even when they are dead. I caught a seven foot lemon shark in Alaska
Great video Vik 🎉
Y’all should check out the navy seals museum off of A1A, we tried to go but they were closed. It looks awesome though.
As a former SEAL truly appreciated you mentioned the museum 👍
I have no clue about this species, so I got clickbaited real hard. I'm loving it though.
i have said shark schnitzel like 500 times.
I ate shark for the first time in Thailand, it was more like a shark steak, i loved it! the schnitzel looked great!
The clickbait was real on this one lol I’m over here thinking you caught a GW size blacktip lmao
Vick your very good at your trade thanks for sharing best wishes for you and Brook and family love your videos
Thank you for watching
Love this channel
Great job, I like your longer videos , thanks
Awesome, thank you!
cant have schnitzel without gravy! should make a gravy out of a seafood broth next time
Love it. Shark is one of my favorite proteins.
On mashed potatoes, heat your milk and butter in a pot before you blend it makes a huge difference. Don’t boil just heat it.
U sound like a good cook
Bro be living in gta
Very high quality content. Nice work
@LandsharkOutdoors, love the content brother! Just a fun fact fairlife milk is actually far from fair. They torcher their cows, take the new calfs away from their mother and stick them in a little outdoors pen with a half cut barrel exposed in the sun, calfs last about 3 days at most before they roast to death in their pens. Id avoid that company at all costs. Besides that keep up the good work man
Lmfao when bra an Mom talking DAD ain't even look up
Great video Victor 😊 i fish mostly for hammerheads from the rocks.
If my husband and I make the trip to the East Coast, could we hook up with you and Brook and do some fishing together? Sadly, we don't have a boat. We are up and coming RUclipsrs.
