I just go these installed on my truck and they look amazing but was also wondering if your friend was able to run a 285 tire on the tacoma without doing a body chop or reclocation?
I just ordered the 3 Inch Toytec Suspension Kit for my 2005 4x4, my question is, do I need to upgrade the upper control arms or is stock ok? I use the truck as a daily and only off-road like once every 2 months. Thanks
they suggest upper control arms I have the same and put SPC's control arms just me same lift but Ole man emu's springs but mine is a 04 with 98k when I bought it now has 104k replaced timing belt and got tune up the 3.4L last forever as long as you take care ove them.
Imo not needed up to 2.65” over stock. In his case Less worry about skid inference later. My taco had a hard 70k on with our diff drop reheard at 72k ish front diff was perfect after full inspection. A “diff drop” only tilts the front of the diff downward leaving rear of diff in same place
I noticed the fieldcraft hat, your friend was wearing. My kind of people. Great vid!
yea man all solid dudes in my corner 💪🏻 thanks for watching too btw🙏

Late reply but awesome
How's your friend liking the lift? Looking to get the same kit. What tires is he running?
He loves it actually and I’ve driven and been in that truck performs well. He has nitro ridge grapplers 285/70r17
