The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has identified five hazardous attitudes that can negatively impact a pilot's decision-making and lead to unsafe flight:
    FIVE HARARDOUS ATTITUDES
    1) ANTI-AUTHORITY
“Don’t tell me what to do!”
    2) IMPULSIVITY
    “Do something quickly!”
    3) INVULNERABILITY
    It won’t happen to me!”
    4) MACHO
    “I can do it!”
    5) RESIGNATION
    “What’s the use. I quit!”
    6) Compliancy
