You really love this car eh Matty. I've always liked these Saxo's, they looks so nippy and cool!
It's great mate honestly. You wish for a bit more power sometimes but overall it's so comfortable and has a lot of charm
Nice one Matty, glad you’re still loving the car like I’m loving mine
Thanks mate
my exhaust also fell off on both saxos hahaha really glad to see ur channel picking up a bit too! wish i was motivated enough to record stuff on my new saxo i just got but i cant
Common problem but these French cars certainly pick their moments😂
loving the videos man, keep it up
Thanks mate
Have just hit 43k in my 2004 Saxo. The garage thinks I'm bonkers for insisting on a service every year with the MOT after 1k, but not about to stop the stamps at this point! Did Notts to the North Yorkshire Moors and back 2 months ago on £30 petrol 😁😁
Boss! And yeah fuck the garage it's low mileage and needs to be protected
Just had the cat replaced on my Saxo 1.1 too, hoping the rest lasts a while longer!
Fortunately Saxo door mirrors can be bought brand new for about 20 quid on ebay...
New car... Not a lot of things come in green, and auto probably limits it again. Assuming it's another small car, maybe a VW Polo?
Yeah I got a new mirror from ebay that I need to fit. Nope not a Polo!
My Peugeot’s exhaust fell off too, oui Monsieur!
Kit it up put nice lights on it
Used to have tinted lights on it and they didn't look that good
Thinking of buying a 2003 one, any suggestions you may have on what I should check on the car?
If it looks and drives alright you're probably onto a winner. The suspension arms are apparently a common thing to go so check it doesn't knock. But other than that you can't go far wrong. Check for oil leaks etc too
What happened to all the Saxo's. They where everywhere in the early 2000's.
I took my 90's car off the road at the end of November but as my daily failed it's MOT in January the old car ended up back on the road, then an even bigger issue a week ago means I'm using it as a daily once again.
Never mind the suncream going down south, have you seen how much stuff costs down there?
90s car to the rescue! When we went down south my meal deal came to 7 pound. But that’s a story for another video
videos are great Matty, but whats the score with the saxo steering wheel? It moves from left hand drive eg 3 mins when youre in the car to right side 4.45 when youre outside...is that the comical bit ?
I hope people don't think the camera angle is the comedy😂 Nah it's basically me unintentionally having the camera facing the wrong way
Omg the luxury of having a Saxo desire i have a base model first 😂 🎷
It's still a Saxo but yeah I know what you mean 😂
I reckon it’s a mk4 fiesta in that dark green colour , not entirely sure if they did an auto though ?
MK4 Fiesta is definitely something I'd consider. Sooner rather than later. My dad had a maroon one in Ghia trim. Lovely car.
British racing green gonna be Rover related
Try again😆
Could it be a mk3 golf automatic? For some reason i remember most mk3 golf's being green
Volkswagens aren't really my cup of tea. I remember seeing a lot of green polos
It's really common for exhausts to fall off on 106s, 205s, Saxos, 306s and 206s, unfortunately, sir...
Unfortunately unless it's an expensive stainless steal exhaust all exhausts are prone to rust from the inside thanks to moisture from the engine
Rover 200/25?
I very nearly bought a gold Rover 25 a few months ago. But that's a story for another video!
What was those people taking pictures of at 1:21
Either the car or maybe one of the stickers?
@@MattysCars what stickers do you have?
@@baileywestby I have a scrappage scheme survivor sticker, a never been neighboring sticker, a legalise it sticker and a french tat sticker
Toyota Yaris Mk.1?
Nope but I'd love one of those
Micra maybe? Or a civic?
Nope and no! I'd love a K11 Micra though
@@MattysCars Ah, worth a guess. Yeah they're great cars. My mum had a 1995 K11 - really nice car and super reliable, hoping to get my own one soon!
Not a Rover 🤣
In a way you're close. Because I very nearly did. A Rover is definitely something I'm getting in the future though!
@@MattysCars i’ve had more than I care to mention.
Many enjoyable a few troublesome and one or two still missed
