    Love that blond mane blowing back and the tricolor, what fun! I showed at Louisville twice, trotting down the ramp into the arena is a thrill I'll never forget!

    We had a Morgan that always went to national and even went to world championships and every time that he heard the crowd cheer he got sooo excited. If he didn’t get his first place ribbon and his victory lap he would throw a tantrum

    It also must be such an amazing feeling to have those roses in front of you and the tri-colored ribbon flying back

    Oh man, what memories. My Morgan, Sun Bay's Sea Spray (Sprayer) and I went to Morgan Nationals in Oklahoma in 1994 when I was in 10th grade. We placed reserve in Junior Park Saddle. It was a dream come true. We had saddlebreds and hackney ponies as well. I do miss the life, but not the work. When your parents are just teachers you have to do everything. Exhausting work. Great trip down memory lane though. Thank you!

    I never realized how full Marc of Charm's mane is

      AM Sanderson I am guessing he has a mane and tail weave. Most of the horses have tail weaves which are much nicer than the old time switches.

    What gait is that called??

    • @hannahwiseman7321
      @hannahwiseman7321 3 года назад

      The two additional gaits are the slow gait and the rack. Both gears, the legs move individually. A correct slow gait has 3 feet on the ground at a time, and a correct rack has one.

    The length of the tails is "slightly" exaggerated (in my European eyes) and impractical for the horses when they want to step backwards.

    • @emmae4795
      @emmae4795 3 года назад

      Its usually tied up when not showing with some shorter strands hanging out to swat flies. Sometimes it’s fake too

    Marc of Charm is simply spectacular. When this stud is in the rack he flies (along with that mane).

    Seriously? You don't even jump them this is just equitation. You got it or you don't at this point.
    This seems cruel and highly unnatural fir a horse.
