Is this more for hearing? I have not come across people free diving deep with open cell suits having an ear problem before needing to do this? Thanks for the video, cheers for sharing!
It does help with hearing but also what Ant talks about the possible pressure that can cause to ears. Ant has multiple freediving records so we have been lucky enough to get him to show just one of his many tips. Hopefully he will be keen to show us some more!

Another idea that personally I think works better is use a soldering iron, more people would have one in the garage
