No unnecesarily convoluted time shenanigans that give nothing to the story. At most, keeping Cloud's hallucinating denial to improve on his mental decline and make his future breakdown hurt even more. A Jenova fight that on its own serves as the classic, flashy, multiple-phased final boss fight on a Final Fantasy. That's how you improve the original scene, by adding and polishing more, but keeping the essence intact. Thank you for making this version that goes closer to what it should've been.
I really THANK YOU for making this scene. It makes more sense without the overlapping with other paralel multiverse. The battle is also GREAT! Showcasting every limit break because they're all in anger and sorrow. This is very emotional and very well put in one video. So GREAT!!!!
There's no multiverse it's the life stream they explain it in dialogue in Cosmo canyon

@@alwaysloctis I think you are missing the point that cloud is insane and imagining all of this every single person that keeps saying multiverse literally knows nothing about the concept of what the game is supposed to be it's a psychological not your traditional final fantasy game it's literally about a guy with PTSD that blocks everything out and imagining things and false narrative this game is doing exactly that and sephiroth is linking the realm of the dead and living together the life stream is a entity that holds the souls of people the ideas and in advent children you see this ever crisis even explains it when the game starts we won't know for sure until part 3 comes out but for now cloud is insane just like the original and sephiroth is taking that into count using Areith to gain the black materia rebirth is meant to be confusing and mental psychological so of course nomura wants the fan base to be divided put the pieces together cloud and areith fighting sephiroth is in his head same with Zack the only key difference to real and not is hard to spot areith when she's dead talking to cloud the area is white same went for the fight edge of creation is a spot where cloud and sephiroth fight in clouds mind in the original sephiroth even says is this a fever dream and cloud says I'm not falling for it we have to remember cloud is mental and the life stream houses a lot of things tifa explains in Cosmo canyon that the lifestream may hold a world with everyone else even the dead and ideas which points to stamp mascot ideas changing in every scene and the only way you see this is either when cloud is at deaths door or asleep or in a trance areith puts her hand in the water and it is stated it houses the life stream energy so she feels Zack I don't expect any single one of you to believe or listen to me but I'm not the only one who has noticed all of this and pointed a bunch of things out in the story that points directly to cloud being completely insane by the end of the game and sephiroth using Areith to get to cloud and the lifestream being the main ground for ideas the souls of everyone living and dead which the lifestream part was confirmed more than once throughout the franchise but you can believe what you want I really don't care it doesn't matter just a game not something to argue what's right or wrong
Why did they cut my baby girl scene?
she's not dead i think they will find a way to bring her back thru the multiverse im willing to bank on it ; briana white signed a contract for 3 games so there is no way she isnt playable or brought back in reunion or whatever they title it

I hope shes dead because the game would be lame otherwise. If what you say is true, not that I really doubt it, she could be a ghost and appear in visions or whatnot, as she did in the end scenes. And also she would have a small part at the end being dead, as shes the one that brought holy and saved the world in the end.
I prefer this edit over what we got, the way it keep switching version keep confusing, it no wonder people prefer Remake over Rebirth
This is so wrong at EVERYTHING!
First, once they enter regular timeline with the stab happening, Cloud is behind Aerith. On the original he was positioned in a front line sit to the tragedy.
Then there is the aftermath.
Cloud is crying, but as we can see, when the mind-flashbacks happen, we see Cloud talking but without tears.
This is because the original scene was great at both impact and story telling. Cloud gives a speech about how angry he is, but he isn’t “truly sad” because he is under Sephiroth’s control, hence the puppet line. So his description is also aimed at himself and how he isn’t reacting “like a normal human”.
There is even another detail that no one mentions. Sephiroth wasn’t the one who called Cloud a puppet during the stab scene, BUT JENOVA. That is an insane detail, this monster isn’t brainless but devious and has a will of its own. And Cloud is on its radar.
In a way, this small detail is a perfect sneak peek to Cloud recognizing Complete Jenova in OG FF7 before fighting Bizaro Sephiroth (reborn now I guess).
Cloud stopped Sephiroth's attack, that's why he is ahead, he deflected the attack and the sword falls away from Aerith, but something makes the event happen...
That's why Sephiroth laughs, because his sword fills with blood when he hadn't touched Aerith, that's why Cloud can now see Aerith and cry when she touches him with her hand, this change modifies the way Cloud will deliver the Black Materia to revive Sephiroth.
Aerith tells him that she must stop Meteor, that is, Cloud must deliver the Black Materia to Sephiroth's tomb for that to happen. That's why he can see the sky destroyed while the rest can't. It's also strange that they skipped the pond scene where Cloud submerges Aerith's body.
Can you compare Death or Alive 6 with Tekken 8?

Fuck I hate Censors. Just why? Takes out the fun & just ruins the moments. Knowing Aerith dies does not make this any less painful. Really wish they had made her & Cloud kiss. Loss moment. But I'm very glad Tifa is The One.
I really wish if the Devs were going to pretend Aerith dies here they would at least have included some derivative of Clouds speech from the original for the emotional impact viewers benefit, instead we just got him spasming around mouthing words but that's just baseline Cloud so I can't be too surprised.
Original Cloud: ...Shut up. The cycle of nature and your stupid plan don't mean a thing. Aerith is gone. Aerith will no longer talk, no longer laugh, cry...... or get angry......What about us...... what are WE supposed to do? What about my pain? My fingers are tingling. My mouth is dry. My eyes are burning!
Remake Cloud: Doesn't say anything until after the fight "Yup sounds good."
Rebirth really ruined this scene
Sorry OG fans but cloud saved Aerith here. This is Aerith from advent children who tricked sephiroth by switching the timelines. After clouds knocks the sword out you can see all the rainbow 🌈 showing an alternate timeline created and then kicks back into the OG so the OG fans won’t feel robbed of the dead Aerith scene. They didn’t go into too much detail cause they are bringing her back alive and well in part 3. This is the new canon unfortunately we all have to cope with Aerith and Zack alive this time. Just accept fate you can’t change what the directors want unless you can produce some rainbows also and make an alternate ff7 rebirth. 😂

I don’t think they censored it for that reason though, it’s from clouds perspective and right now his brain is damaged. I think we will actually see her death in part 3.

I remember when playing this game how Sephiroth left a pool of blood @ Shinra headquarters. All i see is ecto plasm. You might as well as call him slimer. Wtf. Thank you Hironobu for leaving a sinking ship. Square is officially dead.
