Thank you Mandoo, both these men are old and break my heart. Its kind of weird how similar these 2 men are yet one is liked and one isn't. I imagine it has to do with looks. The second man has Mr Norris Henderson and his support. He is begging to get out.

Hell they might as well keep him he too old to be a productive member of society he will struggle to adjust to this world we live in it’s sad how they punish these people then throw them back on the streets

Holy cow, 1982? that 2nd guy is been there months before my youngest child was born. That's a long time.
No matter the programs he could have taken, at his age, who would hire him for other than for labor?

What huge miscarriage of justice.... 19 years old. Youmean to tellme that the institutions in Louisiana are not equipped to rehabilitate a teenage boy in less than 40 years .

@mandoo I disagree with you concerning Mr. Roche's understanding. Roche understands from every position but being incarcerated. It's like book sense compared to actually doing something. Not all inmates benefit from classes. People learn in different ways. Norris's comments is what secured the recommendation for the guy. Mandoo, you're generally hard on crime and look down on most inmates, so of course you'll find fault in any advocate for their release. This is shown when you rail against the inmate's family for supporting their loved one's release. Like you don't understand that family will love their family members regardless to what crime they commit. Further, Henderson is reveled by inmates and inmates families because he overcame incarceration. You know my story so I won't repeat it, but guys like Henderson and myself give inmates hope.

Thank you for writing. I rail because of what the family says, not that they support their family. It's what is said not that they say it.

@@mandoo1396 I understand that, but it's the same as when the victim's loved ones say that they don't believe the offender has changed even though they know nothing of the offender's heart or mind since the crime. No matter how long he's been in prison, they'll say they don't believe he's changed. But people do change. I'm living proof to that. And there's many more. I do get it that the victim's family don't ever want the offender to get out. And that's their right. The board is supposed to look at it differently though.

He messed up and he didnt get written up for being stabbed his last write up was 2004 for contraband for the eye drops that was cologne glad he didnt use them thinking they was eyedrops and it was cologne 😂. But thats was 20 yrs ago and his stabbing happened 9yrs ago so he didnt get written up for the stabbing , he mustve mistaken or either they thought he was starting stuff in dorm but found out he was mistaken for someone else and they didnt write him up and he thinks it stayed in his jacket. Also he never had a gambling write up so apparently Mrs.R must have mistaken that bc assistant warden didnt say he had a gambling one and she wouldve brung that up bc she always straightens out this like that. So i think hes being honest him not having but a 5th grade education and him get emotional speakimg of his father dying when he was 7 or 10 i cant remember what age he said and he has disability of his nerves up his neck into head so from his youth so it musta be pretty bad to get ssdi from it and i think learning disabilities no education i think thats what makes him come off kinda iffy .. hiw horrible would it be to be stabbed in your eye and ear and face while sleeping that woukd be crazym
