Check out the newly refurbished Loch Ness Monster roller coaster at Busch Gardens Williamsburg located in Williamsburg, Virginia. This coaster originally opened back in 1978. At the end of the 2023 season, the coaster closed for a massive refurbishment which included over 1,000 feet of new track, and several new theming enhancements. Can you spot all the new changes?

Honestly it makes me happy to see that these rides can be revitalized. There’s a lot of arrows out there that deserve to be kept as long as possible. The company is the reason Disney is what it is and the reason we have the coasters that we do.

Sick upgrades the tunnel section seems longer. Wish I was in Williamsburg to have a go on Ol Nessy .😅

Yeah it’s incredible what they have done. They’ve also managed to make much smoother than before but still feels like a classic arrow.

Did they do a bit of heartlining? It looks like they heartlinedthe bit that goes in to the tunnel.
