The relationship I’m in right now is like that. The intimacy is all but gone; all that’s left is the complacency of being around each other. We’ve just gotten used to it. Love’ s not always enough, and sometimes you have to turn the page and leave each other behind in order to grow. That lingering nostalgic longing remains, tho 😢
