I got one for christmas, only have one issue but it is minor, the leather has a little bit of wear on it when it was new. But I still love the wheel. My first wheel was for the ps3 and it was a digital r wheel, no force feedback, no clutch, everything is plastic.

Thanks for the vid, it helped me find out the issue with my G920 (i forgot about the power cable lol)
the connector block that is detachable is for safe .meaning if someone were passed and trip on the USB cord ,the block will just dissconnect without pulling your console or the wheel down resulting in damages and also to extend the cable. they used to have it on the old xbox's controllers .

actually that isnt the reason it is detachable. is because if you want to connect the original xbox controller through it or vice versa to plug it into the first generation xbox for any game that they might want to make compatible in the future.the reason i know this is i was always losing that little but for the first gen controller and couldnt plug my controller into the consol and would most of the time have trouble detaching it from the controller

I've been using this steering wheel setup on a Next Level Racing stand for over a year. The plug for the pedal (and also the one for the shifter) started getting loose and backing away from the mating connector. I suspect that the flexible steel plate that the steering wheel mounts to is causing this to happen. I since have designed and had 3D printed a plastic block that replaces the part that you wind the cable around. This part prevents both connectors from backing off, which causes you to lose acceleration.

13:44 it’s like that because if you trip on the cable it is designed to come apart to stop you from tripping or potentially damaging your console pc or driving gear similar to the wired Xbox 360 controller

I followed this exactly, and everything works except for the actual steering part. the wheel does not actually steer in game when I am using it. any ideas as to why?
This is probably a bit late but from what I’ve found, you need to plug the wheel into the console and use that to select the game
If I buy just the wheel and pedals, but not the shifter, will I still be able to change gears manually (i.e. by pressing buttons on the wheel, while pressing down the clutch, to change up and down gears)?

Please do a video of you calibrating the wheel out of the box. I feel like there are certain things you should do that the manual doesn't tell you.

Turns out my wheel was defective. When plugin it in, it calibrates but when u turn the wheel, u feel a bit of resistance, but not my wheel. I would feel the resistance for a sec then the wheel would go completely loose. I bought another and exchanged my wheel
What manual? Just got mine brand new. No manual. Just set up instructions. No mention of calibration or settings. Had to Google for those. I love it, and I love Logitech, somebody fucked up tho

So what holds the pedals in place from just sliding forward when you depress them? Are there clamps I just didn't see?
There is stuff you can remove to make the wheel and clutch fit on the table, the max is NOT just 3 centimeters, but around 6.

@@flix3082 the max is around 6 centimetres. Stuff are the little block thingies on the clamps, I don't know exactly how to discribe them. If I think of it later I'll make a vid showcasing it for ya if you want just so you see how it fits.

It has the weird connecter just before the usb so if the wheel falls of somewhere (table eg) it doesn’t yank your Xbox or pc. It was on Xbox 360 and og Xbox controllers. Pretty smart huh

@@mariosaldana2576 Depends on what game you play. iRacing doesnt need to be set. Forza though is another story. Forza is primary developed for people with a controller, so that game is hard to race with a wheel. Although I found that you definitely had to turn down the Force feedback setting.

@@drewm9185 don’t listen to that idiot. I don’t drive but I’d imagine that it’s somewhat similar to driving. Deff feels better and more immersive then using a controller. Especially if you buy the wheel stand that this guy is using , in his video or you could do what I’m doing. I’m buying the full cockpit, including a racing seat and metal frame for wheel and pedals. You could even go a step more and add a gear stick shifter, usb handbrake, motion seat add on, triple screen etc.

I’m having problems with my left wheel mount not wanting to turn for adjustment to mouth on table or what ever. Is there a way I can fix it ?
What happens if you shift gears with the gear shifter without putting the clutch in?
Sam McRae depends what game . In FH4 it will grind the gears and do damage to the transmition but still shift and In Assetto Corsa it goes into neutral and grinds
In dirt, it will put you in neutral, in forza, you go into the gear but grind the gear and if you play with simulation damage, you damage the transmission.

Hi please help me, My Logitech g920 is connected to xbox one s and it works but in the control settings in the game Forza Horizon 4, I can't find the Logitech settings to set up the device, no settings for the Logitech at all, what should i do ????
The most important question and not an answer...cant believe theres only two ppl asking how to get it main driver, the application for the steering wheel which should be the first step after you plugin if its all going on a PC.
Each game has setup for the wheel, but thats weak...if you dont have the application installed(like if it would be on a comp) the steering wheel still works, but not as good as it has to be...
And also it has a little bit of delay on the wheel, a few ms delay its also annoying.
Could you guide me on this please? Of course if you already solved this problem..

I have a doubt. If you connect the steering wheel without the power cable, does the steering wheel LED blink and it doesn't work to play?
You need to work on your driving skills , also you should replace those weak stock springs in the pedals with some stronger compression springs it will make a big difference and help with muscle memory and your braking wont go to the floor so easy making it easier to modulate the the braking pressure needed . I would use a 25 lb compression spring for both the throttle and clutch and add a 40 - 45 lb 3 cm long compression spring to the stock brake spring it should slip down inside the brake spring that you are using also put the short spring in a short piece of 700 series old or no longer in use bike tube with the tube ends about 1 1/2 inches extending from each end of the spring and tuck each end of the tube into the inside of the spring and add grease or lube around the rubber so the outside longer stock spring is not binding withe short rubber wrapped spring that is in side the longer stock one . You can keep the rubber brake mod that is in the brake for extra leg muscle needed for hard braking and modulation or not that's up to you if you want to keep it there or remove it . I did this to mine and it has made a world of difference and you may or may not want to wear shoes verses racing in socks after doing so .

Can someone help me please. I bought a used Logitech G920 with a missing USB adapter . I ordered the USB adapter but want to make sure the wheel is working . When I plug in the power cable to the wheel nothing happens, no lights or anything. Is that because I don't have it connected to the PC with the adapter ? Or should I at least get some lights on the wheel with just the power plugged in? Thank You.
