Thread For What I Understand Is Referencing The Older Generation Radio Not The New Generation That I Have. So I Took A Wild Guess That The Old Generation Appearing To Be Labeled ALC For Sideband And That The Labeling Would Crossover To The New Generation. The Numbers For These Points Of Adjustment Are Obviously Different Between The Generations But Words Or Letters Appear To Be The Same But I Could Be Wrong. I Only Found One Thing On The Board Labeled ALC And RT Which Was ALC RT202 Towards The Rear Of The Radio Way Behind The Modulation Adjustment Labeled AMC.

These aren’t bad radios out of the box but using them in a vehicle sucks because the screen washes out do to the sun, best to use it indoors, I gave mine to a friend and bought a galaxy 959. Hope you get some good use out of it, I’ve been using cb since 1989 and enjoy the hobby.
Yeah I heard about the screen issue with these radios but I didn't know if it affected all of them or only a select few were defective. I only planned on using it as a base station in the house, if you're saying that the issue is due to sun exposure then it's most definitely staying in the house. @@countryfriedgamer15o The screen on mine is very hard to see in even moderate daylight. But it runs my kl203p really well.
May I suggest a small amp such as a rm Italy kl203 p
